"SPELLBOUND"
Karson's POV
It has been few days since we, Jasper and I, went to that bar and still that feeling of uneasiness lingers inside me. My wolf has been feeling anxious this past few days, because of that scent. Maybe it's just the pumped-up energy he has. It's been few days as well when I let him out. It's around dawn now and it's a perfect time to get up and go for a run.
I'm still in bed and I slowly got up on my feet and open the big sliding glass door in my balcony. The light just started to show up. I hope this will help us both. Marcus is brushing his way to the surface after that night.
"Aren't you curious to know that scent, Karson?" The familiar deep voice of my wolf asked. He is calmly sitting in our shared dimension. He still amazed me from the day I got him 'til now. He is a magnificent wolf with jet black fur and bright golden-brown eyes.
"I am curious as well, Marcus" believe me, I am. We need to run a bit and clear this thought out.
I strip down my clothes and tossed them on the table on the right side of the balcony. I walk to the railing and jumped from the three-story packhouse. I feel the cold wind on my skin before that familiar feeling breaking of my bones and morphing into a different creature. The shift finished before I hit the ground and landed on my paws.
Thinking about the weird scent for days. I know it's weird, but it somehow got stuck in my head. I can even still remember how Jasper bugged me about focusing on the performance of sexy and beautiful ladies in front of us. Hell, they are very attractive. Believe me. But it seems like I'm not interested in them and can't even focus on the show they are giving. Singing and dancing are not my things, but they a wonderful set of performers, though.
*******
"Hey, man! Look at that blonde one! She is giving you the look!" Jasper elbowed me while I'm busy checking on my phone. Not really paying attention to any of the performers of this bar.
Don't get me wrong. They are amazing. They are giving this tranquility that you feel when you're alone at the beach, having a moment of peace and away from all your problems.
I looked at Jasper and saw where he's pointing at. There, I saw a girl on stage singing some new hit song. I'm a hundred percent sure it's not a Taylor Swift song. Don't get me wrong. Taylor is an amazing singer, but her songs are not my jam.
The girl is giving me some sideways glances and smiles when our eyes meet. She's very pretty. She's wearing a floral sunkissed dress.
Normally I'd reply with a smile, but the odd thing is I ignored and looked back on my phone. I know it's rude and cold, but I'm not interested.
"Wow! That's really cold, man! What's wrong?" Jasper asked. I just looked at him and shrugged "Not my type." Jasper just sighed and looked back at the stage.
