CHAPTER 8

"You and...I?"

Kal's POV

That moment when your world stops for a moment and everything cease to exist. I didn't believe it when Kat told me how she felt when she first laid eyes with Silver. So, this is how it feels.

I can't help it but be mesmerized by his godly gifted looks and beautiful mesmerizing eyes. I felt so blessed by the moon goddess for giving me him.

I should worry because base on what the others have told me. Not all human are welcoming when it comes to same-sex couples.

What if he is like that? What if he rejects me? I tried to shove the thought off. And to be honest, the way he stare tells otherwise. And it somehow washes the worry away.

"Okay, now, lover boy! Let our Kally sing his song." Claudia says impatiently. I know she loves her job entertaining people, but when it was interrupted, she can be a witch. I wonder how she will react when she found out this human is my soulmate. Knowing her, her reaction will be too exaggerated. The thought made me giggle out loud.

"Oh! You are laughing at me now, Kal?" She said. With a mischievous hint in her eyes. Oh, Goddess! I know that look!

"NO!" my answer came out fast in a squeal.

"Good!" She smiled. "Ok. Now! Let's give the floor to our beloved young Siren, Kal!" She taps my shoulder gently and pushed me a little bit to the front before she exits.

"Uhm... Good evening everyone! Hi! I'm Kal! And this song is for you." I can't help but turn my gaze to the table where a pair of stunning grey eyes are staring at me. And it melts me to the core.

The band started playing the instruments and I listened intently as I waited for my cue to start. The melody of the song is really calming and full of feelings and I tried to feel it even more. To deliver the song soulfully.

"Lately I've been feeling oh so strange. Looking at you has never been the same. Never knew what brought us here today. Love has taken over all the way"

Is this what I will feel when I finally fall in love?

"Baby you and I. Never knew were meant. You and I. Can't believe this is happening. Baby, I'm in love with you. And I know this much is true. And I'll stay this way. Every moment I spend with you. You ohh woahh ahh hmm... Hmmmm... "

I know I have feelings for Karson, and that feeling was build years ago when I was a kid. I know I love him. But is that even true love when it's just one-sided?

"Maybe I'm a little bit insane. To see forever in your eyes each day. Searching for the one and then you came. Love has taken over all the way"

Now that I found my soulmate, will he accept me when I told him that he is the reason why I am alive? Will he believe me? But I still need to find Karson. This is so complicated! Ugh!
