Part 8: The Sendoff

Bubble's: POV

After we threw Gelatin and Flower into the volcano, we realized we had to say goodbye to our closest friend... We dug a hole and put her in, Firey fully in tears... He does care... After we said our parting words, mine and Firey's being the kindest, we filled the hole and left... well, all but me and him.... He needs support through this... He told me he can still hear her final screams, which startled me at first, but I remembered that memories replay for awhile, so I said "Maybe she can still talk to you in your memories" and he seemed less sad, so I told him to come back when he felt ready, but as I walked away I know we both heard her scream

Firey's POV:

After throwing those monsters into the volcano, I realized it was time to say goodbye to her... the one who was always there... as they dug the hole, I could hear her final screams in my head, getting louder and louder... I felt a wave of guilt wash over me... if only I got there in time... We lowered her into the grave and gave our parting words

"I knew Leafy for a long time... She was there when I needed comfort, when I needed someone... I loved her with all my heart... Maybe she can come back someday... I'll miss you Leafy..."

As they covered the grave in dirt, I sat by it, crying and steaming up, when Bubble walked over and decided to talk to me... 

"Foirey... I'm so sorry you have go through this..."
"Bubble... I can still hear her...
"HUH?!?"
"I can still her final screams.... They're haunting..."
"Maybe she's talking to yoiou from your memories!..."
"I wish..."
"We're worried about yoiou... Come back when you are ready, ok?"
"Ok.... Thank you Bubble"

As she got up and walked away, I felt a energy, a presence beside me... Then I heard her scream from below the earth... I thought it was just a memory.... But I saw Bubble start with her eyes widened... THE SCREAM WAS REAL!!!!!!!
