I Need You Now

Chapter 8

I tried to open my eyes. but they wouldnt open. i could hear voices and beeping of machines. Where was i? i could hear a voice mutter something  but i could hear it. it was like i had cotton wool in my ears. I tryed to move my body but i couldnt  and it was impossible. All i could remember was emily answering cai's door, suddenly i moved my fingers a little.

"Do it again, Zo" a voice said.

"Do what?" I croaked my throat was sore.

"Move you fingers again"

so i did what he said then all of a sudden i heard the voice shout for a nurse and the nurse rushed, it was only till then i realised that i was in hospital.

"Well, Hello How are you feeling?the nurse said.

"i got a sore throat and pain in my ribs" i said.

i opened my eyes and looked round the room to see who was there, only cai was in the room. what was he doing here?

"you should feel like that because you was put in a chemically induced coma for 5daysand you have broke ten ribs and had a blood in your spleen from the crash, you also had a misscarige" the nurse explained.

i began to cry i didnt care who was watching then She walked out the room to leave me alone with cai which i felt akward about.

"What you doing here?" i cried.

"your my girlfriend and i wanted to see you"

"what about emily?"

"she means nothing to me , we didnt even do anything she my little sister friend who fancys me i promise." he cried

As he said that, lauren walked in the room

"Can i talk to Zoe alone please cai?" Lauren asked

"Sure, i need some sleep anyway." he said wiping his eyes.

"how you feeling babes" she asked.

"sore" i manged to say while sipping some water.

"what happen zo? why did you crash?"

i told he the quickwer version of what happened before the crash. we both cried together as i told her.

"cai does love you, you know" she said.

"yeah, for now"

"he didnt tell you what he did, did he?" she asked

i shook my head. he didnt tell me anything.

Well, alot has happened in this past 5 days, Let me start with the day of the crash. Cai had called me to ask if id see you and i hadnt. so i called your dad and he hadnt see you. so cai left his house looking for you when he found you car and called me and you dad to say he was calling and abulance to tske you to hospital. I didnt know what had happened, me and your dad walked in at the same time to find cai yelling at the doctor cauze he wasnt aloud to see you. so me and your dad tried to calm him down. When we finally found out what had happened i had never seen a boy like him cry so much. When they said you had a misscarige, he fell to his knees and started crying, he never left your side for 5 days."

I couldnt belive it cai had cried...
