chapter 22!
I woke up to Lilly crying, she must nee feeding or changing. I got out of bed and looked at my clock, it was 2am. I picked up Lilly and walked to her nursery so I wouldn't wake Cai up also her nappies where there and her bottles. I put Lilly down in her bouncer where she fell asleep. While I made her bottle and got everything ready. I walked into the kitchen to get her bottle ready, I could hear my dad snoring away. Finally I got her bottle ready 4oz of milk inside. I got Lilly out of her cot and fed her, she only took half the bottle so I burped her and put her back in the bouncer. She fell asleep again so I walked into the kitchen to the rest of the milk into the plastic container Lauren had put it in after using the Breast pump. I heard Lilly cry again so I rushed in, Lilly was sick all down her baby grow. I took her temperate just incase she was having a fever cause she was premature and was pron to having fever cause she was still on oxygen cause she couldn't breather by herself. Her temperate was 38.4 degrees so not quite high so I gave her baby calpol to bring it down. I then changed her nappy cause it was full of diarea, ew. I woke Cai up to help me.
"babe, wake up Lilly sick an I need help"
"urh, what do I have to do?" he said groggy.
"fill her baby bath for me and get her clothes and nappies ready or when I've bathed her"
I took Lilly to the bathroom cause she had diarea all up her back. I placed her in the bath and washed her hair and body. I let Cai get her dressed and do her nappy cause I needed sleep. It was 5am and I had been up with her for 3 hours.
I woke up with Cai asking me if i,d watch Lilly-May while he went to shower.
"sure, how she been? does she need feeding?" I asked.
"she been okay she been sick twice but her temperature has come down, we should book an doctors appointment thou, I've just fed her and she wasnt sick oh and Lauren's rang she will be home later about 7pm she going to see family with her dad."
"okay you go shower babe" I give him a kiss.
"heya Lilly, you miss your mommy, she's coming home later" I said in a soothing voice as i rocked her to sleep. I shouted for my dad to help me bring the moses basket in the living room for Lilly to sleep in while I watched tv.
"when Lauren's dad bringing them Lauren back?" my dad asked
"7pm, you going home or you going with him"
"na I got a date tonight so I'm going home, will you drop me off at mine?"
"yeah what time cause I need to book a doctors appointment for Lilly"
"about 5pm?"
"yeah sure, will you watch you your half granddaughter while I ring doctors?"
He nodded so i went in the kitchen to ring doctors.
"hey can I book an appointment for Lilly-May Bond, yeah her date of birth is 19-11-12, yeah thats right she 5 days old. She got sickness and diarea. Yeah 4:30pm is fine, bye Thanks"
I walked in the living room, to find my dad had fell asleep and Cai was looking after Lilly-May.
"babe do you think Lauren she be at the doctors appointment cause it her daughter?"
"ask her"
I went in the bedroom to call Lauren.
"hey you know that Lilly is ill, we'll could you come back for the doctors appointment at 4:30pm."
"yeah and i'll be on my way now, see you in half an hour."
She hung up before I could say anything. I walked back in the living room and sat down next to Cai.
"she's on her way so me and her will go to doctors while you and Neil take dad home yeah?"
"Yeah that's fine"
Lauren's house we over the road from the doctors which was really good cause Lilly need to go for doctor check ups all the time cause she can't breathe by her self so she has an oxygen machience which she uses 24/7.
