Chapter 9

I woke up in the hospital with the nurse checking my temperature.

"37°C, thats normal. if you keep up you'll be discarged today" the nurse had said

I was glad to know theres a chance of getting out of this horrible place,Sick of this hospital food and being constantly woken up by the person in the bed next to me cause they scream in there sleep, doctors say he has a mental condition. I looked around the room to be suprised lauren was here she told me she was going home to neil, oh well good to have the company. lauren started to wake up from her deep sleep in he uncomfortable chair"

"dont you think you should be going home, that chair no good for your back plus you need the rest fr the baby."

"my friend needs me here ,i dont see cai staying the night do you?"

"thanks for everything" i said.

as we was talking neil pulled back the curtain, he had brought cai with him. He was looking for lauren cause she didnt come home last night. Cai handed me some flowers, which was sweet. Suddenly we heard a lot of noise from out side the curtain. i just thought it was the person in the bed next to me. when a nurse came and said you have a vistor but one of your vistor has to go. So neil decided to go get us all drinks of cofees.

The person walked in, and shock filled my face. It was Shaun ,my Ex ...

" what are you doing here, shaun?" I Shouted.

"im here to see if you're okay."

"well i was untill you arrived."

"im sorry what i did, can we just get back together and leave that wierdo of a boyfriend of yours" he said with a smirk

"what you playing at you prick" said lauren

Cai got up from my side and he just punched shaun in the nose and called for the nurse to take him out of the room and then sat down next to me. Neil had missed everything so me and lauren filled him in.

The doctor came in and gave me the news i wanted.

"Your being discarged in a hour we need to bandage your arm and your foot and prescribe you painkillers but other than that you'll be fine." he said.

An hour later...

After all the faffing about  i finally got to leave. Limping up to the doctor who saved my life i gave him a hug and said thanks. Cai drove us back to laurens, i called my dad to say i was fine and i was spending time with lauren for a few days. My dad was fine with it cause lauren house was my second home and my dad treated lauren as his daugther cause my dad help laurens dad raise lauren cause they we're both single parent so we both grew up together plus her dad and my dad are best friends like us.

Glad to be home, we all decided to watch movies and have a sleep over. We watched The 40 year-old Virgin and Knocked up which scared lauren. Me and Cai had a Couple of Cans of beers while neil only had one and lauren drank alot of coke. Lauren and Neil let me and cai sleep on the sofa bed cause i was in so much pain and she would allow me to sleep on the sofa so Neil slept on the sofa while lauren put her single matress on the floor and slept on the floor.
