Chapter 26!
Zoe P.O.V
I walked out of the Toilets where I got changed into my grey joggers and pink superdry hoodie. I walked into Lauren's room in the hospital.
"hey want me to change Lilly's clothes or do you want to?" I asked Lauren.
"can I?" Lauren said.
"sure, i'll ask the nurse to warm up her bottle aswell"
I wheeled Lilly's cot towards Lauren's bed and got the baby bag to Lauren's bed. I then placed Lilly in her arms then I left to find the nurse.
"hey can you warm this up for room 348 please" I asked the nurse.
"oh yeah sure also the test came back for a Zoe Alexis Baker is that you?"se asked.
"yeah, what is it?"
"negative, I'm sorry i'll go warn this up" she explained.
"no that's fine."
I walked back into Lauren's room and she was talking to Lilly.
"hey babygirl daddy coming by soon to see you, we both love you loads and want you to get better. Doctor Jones is coming to see how your doing aswell" she said in a carm voice while kissing her head.
"hey Lauren the test came negative" I said.
"oh oh I'm sorry Zo"
"no I'm fine" I said.
As we spoke I heard Cai get up.
"hey babe I'm going home to go get some shopping and I need some clothes to change" Cai said as he walked out.
"babe.." I said.
"just leave him he'll get over it. He jut wants to have a baby you know" Lauren said.
"yeah."
Finally the doctor came round to check how Lauren and Lilly was doing.
"How's mom and baby today?" he asked Lauren.
"fine, Lilly's doing well"
He started to check Lilly's temperature, blood pressure and breathing with and without oxygen.
"Lilly I doing really well how much milk she taking?"
"she took 4oz this morning and its 4oz each feed really."
" that's good, her temperature is normal and she's normal without oxygen. I think lilly had pneumonia at birth that's why she couldn't breath but we gonna keep her on oxygen to see how she does now I'm gonna check you" the doctor explained.
He checked Lauren,s temperature, blood pressure and breathing.
"your temperature is good and breathing but your blood pressure is high so we're gonna prescribe you tablets to bring that down but your doing well."
I was glad Lauren and Lilly was okay but all I could think about was Cai.
