Chapter 11 - That's My Girl

I looked at my phone screen to see Xander calling me nonstop and he sent me a tons of messages asking me where I am. I turned my phone off and my chauffer opened the car door for me. I got out from my car and walked inside the school.

I arrived so late which is 10.45 am and the first thing that I do was going up to the rooftop. I put a secret camera near the bench. It was quite far but it was close enough to see who's there. I hid on the other side of the entrance of the rooftop. I waited there and I heard someone going up to the rooftop.

I heard no conversation but I heard noises. I decided to peek a bit but I still can't see anything. They're on the other side which on the bench side. I walked there silently and hid behind the walls right behind the bench.

"Oh Xander.. why picking the rooftop?" My heart froze that second and it's comfirming everything that I wanted know. I heard the both of them kissing and I decided to peek to comfirm it more.

"Because there's no one here." It's Xander's voice. My hands turned into a fist right away and my dad was right. He planned all this to unite Redent and Lemiere together. I turned on my phone and I decided to call him. His phone rang and he picked it up.

"Hello Athena.. where are you? Why didn't you answer my calls?" Yeah, it's Xander. I ended the call and turned my phone off again.

"Athena? She's sick."

"I bet she's getting better." I heard Xander and I scoffed. I'm already better and ready to kill you.

I decided to wait them to stop making out and go back inside the building. They were making out for the whole 20 minutes and when they go back.. I walked out from my hiding place. I took my camera and opened the file.

Yes.. It was Xander with a blonde girl. They were holding hands when they walked in and then Xander kissed her first. He is definitely a pro. He was slipping his hands all over the place.

I turned my body to the view and took out the memory card of the camera. I put them in my pocket and put the camera back into my bag.

I walked back into the building and walked downstairs to the 1st floor. I walked to my locker and took all of my stuff out. I walked out and called my chauffer to pick me up. After 15 minutes of waiting, my chauffer came and I asked him to go straight to my dad's office.

I played with my phone when I was on my way there. I blocked Xander's phone number right away. I took out my sim card and threw it out.

"Ms. Lemiere, we're here." My chauffer announced and I nodded. He got out and opened the door for me. I got out from the car along with my bag and then walked into my dad's building. Every staff who sees me, they bowed and opened every door and every access for me. They even prepared the lift ready for me to go up.

"Where to Ms. Lemiere?"

"My dad's office." I said simply and the employee pressed 18th button for me. He left the lift and bowed to me before going away. The lift closed and it goes up. I walked out from the lift when I arrived at the 18th floor and I walked straight to my dad's office without knocking. He was calling someone but when he saw me.. he immediately ended the call.

"Athena, aren't you suppose to be at home resting?" He asked as he got up from his seat walking to me.

"Can I ask you a favor?" I asked and he raised his eyebrows.

"What favor?" He asked in a careful tone as he asked me to sit down on the sofa. He sat on the table right in front of me. He held my hands and raised his eyebrows waiting for me to continue.

"I want to live outside New York. I want to start a new page." I said and my dad's eyes widen.

"Athena, why- I mean- why did you- what?" He was speechless and he wasn't expecting it.

"I heard about your conversation with mom yesterday and you were right. Xander is a fucking asshole. I confirmed it earlier and you were absolutely right." I said and he looked at me completely speechless.

"I can transfer you to another school but why outside New York?"

"We still can bump into each other if I'm in New York, dad. I don't want that and since I'm going to graduate highschool soon.. I want to go study mechanics in Ohio." I said and my dad sighed.

"Athena, I do agree with you going to study mechanis in Ohio but I'm not ready to let you go and live outside New York alone. Not on my watch.."

"But dad.." I sighed.

"I will end things with Redent and make sure there won't be any contacts with them. You don't need to worry about seeing them here in New York. I won't let you see them ever again." He smiled at me and I nodded.

"How about home schooling?" My dad asked and I found myself nodding.

"Good, I will process that tomorrow for you along with your school. You don't need to worry about anything." He said and he kissed my forehead.

"Thanks dad." I was so glad that he didn't ask anything related to Xander. I know that he doesn't want to hurt my feelings.

"You still have your fever.. I'll call Lou to get you home." My dad said as he put his hand on my forehead.

"Dad, are you really going to end things up with Redent?" I asked and he nodded.

"Don't worry, kiddo. Your old man got this." He smiled assuring me that everything will be okay. I smiled and hugged him tightly. He patted and kissed the top of my head.

"I wonder why don't you cry a little bit because I will kill
him if you cry.." My dad said and I chuckled.

"Crying is not worth it, I will make him pay for what he did besides I have a rock head, just like you." I said as I looked up to him. He laughed and nodded.

"That's my girl."
