Chapter 30 - Queen of Lemiere

Athena Lemiere

I opened my eyes slowly and I got up slowly. Xander was still sleeping beside me and I got off from the bed. I took her shirt and wore it. I walked out from the room going down to the kitchen. I opened the fridge and found an ice cream and a cookie.

I took it out and I opened the ice cream tub. I tried to look for a spoon and then I found it on one of the drawers. I started to eat the cookie with the ice cream. I sat on the kitchen table not caring that it's dark down here. I'm just so hungry.

Suddenly I felt arms circling around my waist, I screamed in horror.

"Athena.. it's me!" Xander said before I can hit him. I took a breath of relieve because that scared the shut out of me.

"You scared me." I hissed and he chuckled. He walked towards the fridge opening it. It gave me a view of him being shirtless. He turned to me letting the fridge open.

"So you stole my shirt huh?" He said as I put a spoonful of ice cream into mouth.

"Why? I can't." I said in a cold tone and he chuckled. He stood between my legs putting my ice cream away. He kissed me and I pushed him.

"Enough for today, Redent." I said and he smirked. He turned to the fridge again taking out a few things. He closed it and then turned on the lights in the kitchen. I closed my eyes because the lights hit my eyes too fast.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Cooking you dinner, beautiful." He said as he took out a pan.

"You can cook?" I asked.

"I love it.. and you can't?"

"I can but not a lot of things though." I said as I ate the cookie.

"You really tempt me by sitting there in my shirt and with that legs, Athena." He said and I shrugged.

"Just concentrate on your cooking!" I said pointing at the pan and he laughed.

"Yes, Ms. Lemiere." He teased me and I saw him starting to cut the chicken breast and some bacon. He took out pasta out and started to making spaghetti.

"What will our parents reaction if they know.. we're together?"

"I don't know. Flip the table and start to kill each other maybe.." Xander said and I nodded.

"I started all this.." I said and Xander turned to me raising his eyebrows.

"I told everything about us 7 years ago and asked him to help me shut everything."

"It's partly my fault too, Athena. Don't blame yourself for it." He said and I sighed as I made myself a ice cream sandwich.

"Can you tell me why you stop being a mechanic?" He asked and I realized that I forgot about it.

"After meeting Jacob, they teach me how to be proper and after we dated.. I realize I can continue it. I thought turning myself into a queen is my destiny but.. I was wrong." I sighed remembering it.

"You can do it now.. you know."

"Yeah.. but still don't have the opportunity to do that." I said with a dry laugh.

"You can do it again starting for now." He said smiling and that makes me feel better in a lot of ways.

"So did you visit Jacob yesterday?" He asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, I just want to check on him. Is he okay or not?"

"Wow, what a lucky dude." He said sarcasticly.

"You and him are different, Xander. You know that.." I said and he nodded lightly.

"I'm glad that the one now."

"That fast?"

"So you want me to go back to him?" I hissed and he pouted.

"Who is she?"

"Christine Correl." I said and Xander turned to me disbelief.

"What?! That's like north and south." He said and yes, Xander is right. Christine Correl is the one and only daughter of Calvin Correl. Calvin Correl is famous for his business for jewelry and yes they are very rich. Calvin Correl and King Darren are bestfriends since they were in highschool. The both of them always hoped that Christine and Jacob will be together and it became true even though the two of them went through a crazy road of life.

"Yeah but at least.. they're together now." I said.

"They should be." Xander said and I rolled my eyes.

"Is it done yet? I'm starving." I asked as I closed the ice cream tub. I put it back to the fridge and walked towards Xander. I slipped my arms from the back through the gap of his arms.

"2 minutes, babe." He said and I kissed his back.

"Where do you want to go tomorrow?" He asked as I sat back on the kitchen table.

"I don't know.. you show me Brighton." I said and he nodded. He put the spaghetti to the plate and then gave it to me.

"Where's yours?" I asked as I held the plate.

"Going to take a little bites from you." He said and I nodded. He gave me the fork and I started to dig in.

"This is so good." I said while my mouth is still full.

"Glad that you like it." He smiled and I gave the plate to him. He had some and then give it back to me. He pulled my body closer to the edge and he stood between my legs watching me eat.

"I will show you all England if you want.. I want to see that beautiful smile." He said as he touched my nose.

"I wonder if you say that.. to every girls."

"Trust me.. I didn't." He said and I smiled nodding. I continued to eat everything and I felt full.

"I wanna watch netflix." I said.

"Yes, your highness." He answered.

"Let's imagine if I'm the queen of England." I said teasing him and he just looked at me flatly.

"You can be the queen of Lemiere."

"No one can replace my grandmother for that." I said and he chuckled.

"Let's watch netflix." He said as he picked me up like a ricesack back upstairs.
