That was it. She had been caught, Mrs Weasley was profusely upset, and wouldn't stop apologizing, and Ginny was glaring daggers, while Dumbledore was refusing to expel her, and Harry sat, everyone staring.
He was in a room full of adults.
Nobody to comfort him. It was all a bit much. He could Hardly see straight. In that second, he understood what Snape must've felt when his father, James Potter, had got away with all his stupid pranks. And he felt sorry,
"Harry, my boy, there must of been some sort of mix up? Surely?" The old man, with twinkling blue eyes, that used to fill Harry with Happiness, but now just made him look down submissively, said. "No professor, it was her. She's done other things too.."
And that's how it went for three agonizing hours, a panic attack arising in Harry on multiple occasions. Ginny was let off with a warning. A fucking warning. Harry could of killed her right then and there. Instead he stood abruptly and left, tears stinging his eyes as he was called back into the room. He ignored them, though. Heading straight for the dungeons, even though his God fathers were in their room and all his friends in their meet up class.
why was he going to the dungeons, you wonder?
To say sorry.
To who?
Severus fucking Snape.
Harry had become oddly confident. He banged on the all too familiar door, quite hard, with the side of his fist.
"Enter." Came a severely annoyed reply.
And so Harry did, before the older man could reply after he'd entered, he blurted a quick "I'm sorry, Sir." And had disappeared again.
Snape was left in bewilderment, a mildly confused expression on his face.
Back to Harry, he was running upstairs, flights and flights of them, and as he slowly reached the Gryffindor common room he stopped for a second. "Shit." He uttered quietly, realising he didn't know the password.
"Can I help you Harry dear?" The fat lady said, obviously recognising him,
"I don't remember the password, that's all." His quiet reply came,
"Oh, I'll let you in just this once, go on." And the portrait door opened, and he jumped in, practically flying. The quiet thanks came without reply.
"Oh! Look, prissy Potters he-" But before the boys snide remark was finished, he had a bloody nose, and Harry was shaking his fist out.
"Who's next, eh?" He practically growls, "Nobody? Good." And he dashed to his old dorm.
He slid under his old bed effortlessly, pulling up a loose floorboard, "Ah," Was the only sound that was heard, in Harrys hand was a black, silk box. He opened it, and there lay a ring. A simple silver band, with a black snake twisting around it, holding a emerald in place. He just had enough time to get up and hide the box in his trouser pocket before the current sleepers in this dorm came in and practically dragged him to his protective boyfriend.
Harry was so sure his life would be perfect from now on as Draco pulled him in for a soft tender kiss, Hermione was wrapped in Pansy's arms, Seamus was on Deans back, Ron and Blaise were just sharing sweet kissses, and Neville and Luna were also sharing sweet kisses. It was all perfect. Nothing could go wrong.
Or could it?
Nope, theyre all perfectly happy.
