3rd P.O.V
"Oklahoma, your turn," New Mexico muttered while taking a seat next to Colorado and Utah. Oklahoma had brown hair, almost red, and blue eyes like his father. He smiled wearily. "Hi, I'm Oklahoma or Jacob Jones. Nice to meet you I guess."
He quickly shook everyone's hand, lingering a bit on Canada. Jacob felt secure with Canada, seeing as Canada was their uncle. "Y-You should go now, Emma,'' Oklahoma said quietly. Surprisingly, Emma heard him. Emma was a girl with short brown hair with wavy curls on each side of her face. Her vibrant green eyes shone brightly.
"Sup, I'm Utah! Or as you already know, Emma Jones!" Utah said cheerfully. As she shook everyone's hands and went to sit back down, a country called out. "This is getting boring. Shouldn't we just go on with the introductions?"
Now, whoever that country was shouldn't have said anything. All of the states turned defensive. Actually, a couple were ready to get out their guns (seeing as they could) but a sharp looked from America made them all stay put. "I guess that's fine bro. You can know their names as you meet them on your own. That is if you're staying," America said, looking at the group of nations.
"Fine, Aru," China muttered. "I think that's fine, Da?" The rest of the countries hummed in agreement and decided to make themselves comfortable by grabbing a seat and sitting to countries they favored. Russia had grabbed a seat next to Nevada, close to California as he was still obsessed with how her hair looked like a sunflower. However, he was not next to her because she was too loud and talkative.
The Italian brothers sat next to New York, hearing about the pizza he was famous for. China had also sat close to Washington hearing rumors that it was one of the wealthiest states. Germany sat next to Iowa because as the countries were picking places to sit, he had overheard that the states have the most pork and that meant sausages.
Following his brother, he went to sit next to Iowa, not knowing who to pick until they proved themselves to be awesome. Japan immediately went to little Hawaii, wanting to form a small friendship. England sat far away from the colonies (As requested by America) and was placed next to Florida. France sat next to England, afraid his bitter-tea-lover was going to be murdered by the other states.
Spain sat next to New Mexico, trying to engage him into a conversation and Canada went to sit next to America in the center.
"So, you think that life will ever give you a break?" Canada whispered as talking started. America sighed and shrugged. "Have no idea, Mattie. All of this is so hectic and so unorganized... anyway, the thing is, as long as I can get the countries to meet who they wanna meet, I can get them out of here quicker." Canada listened to his brother, concerned about what to do.
Meanwhile, New Mexico was trying to stay calm. "Que? No hablas Espanol?" Spain asked, thinking that NM just could understand him. "Por supuesto que sí, idiota. La cosa es que yo realmente no hablo. Si quieres, ve a Texas sobre eso. El habla mucho. Simplemente no en Spainsh." He replied, not once looking at Spain.
Spain pouted and tried again. "Voy a seguir hablando contigo hasta que respondas." New Mexico still did not answer. "Por favor, solo una conversación? Si no, voy a empezar a molestar a tu padre y a hablarle de ti."
"Fine. What do you want?'' He asked. "Perfecto! Okay, so tell me, how is it living with America?" Spain asked excitingly. New Mexico hesitated before answering. "It's wonderful. We get to eat whatever we want and we just help out with our problems within our state. It's just..." He trailed off, glancing at America.
Spain looked at him expectantly, waiting for him to continue. "It's just that it can be hectic." New Mexico finished, looking at Spain. Spain looked doubtful that that was his true answer. "Okay, mi nino," He said, looking to a random place.
Wow, that's a VERY short chapter. And it's a day late. ;-;. I lost all of my planning and I'm legit upset. Why? Because I can't remember much bout where this story is going to go. Well, the details. So, I'm taking the shortest break I can and planning Everything out again. I honestly don't know when I'm going to update again. Just know I will NOT abandon the story. I don't do that. Anyway, takes for reading!
