ALEXIS POV

AUGUST 19

Today I'm officially 8 months pregnant and it is my last ultrasound because next month our son will be born and we are so excited I am wearing a yellow and white shirt and blue jeans. We have already got his room set up it's painted lime green with white baby furniture and when he is born we are going to take his picture and and put it in the frame on the wall. Abel and I are the car driving to the doctors office.

Abel I am so excited I said smiling.

Yeah I know I am to.

Can't wait to kiss his little face I said.

I think he probably is going to look like the both of us he said.

I don't know I just have that feeling I said looking at him.

When we got to the doctor office we went straight into the room and waited for Dr.Campbell. When she finally came in the room she gave me a hug.

Hey Alexis this is the last appointment next time you will be giving birth.

Yes we are so excited.

You should be now let's go see that baby boy she said. We went into the room and she sat everything up and put the stuff on my belly we could all hear the heart beat.

There's is your baby she said.

Awl look at him so beautiful I said then abel came and held my hand.

Yes we do but it is a secret.

Oh that's cool she said.

Is the baby healthy I said.

Yes his heart beat is so strong she said.

After that we went back to the regular room.

So Alexis is this birth going to be all natural or epidural.

It is going to be with epidural I said.

Oh ok that's all I wanted you guys can go she said.

Ok bye Dr.Campbell I said then we left.

When we left Abel said he had to go pick up something but it didn't look like a place you pick stuff up at.

What are we doing here Abel I said.

Ok I said then when we got to the door Abel put his hands over my eyes.

What the hell are you doing.

Shhh don't talk just walk baby he said. When he finally took his hands away from my eyes I opened them up and it was my baby shower.

Omg really thank you. Then Asia came and put a sash around me that said mother to be.

Your welcome lexi she said hugging me. They place was all decorated in blue and green and my mom, Katie, Leah, Dani, Ables mom, Asia and 5 of my girl cousins was all here for the baby shower so I went over and start saying hi to people.

Yes it is and I can't wait to see my first grandchild she said bending over and kissing my stomach.

They all said thanks and congrats to me I stayed and talked to them a little while then I went over to my friends Katie, Leah, and, Dani.

Have fun I said walking off to go sit next to Abels mom. Abel was over talking to my mom and cousins.

Hey mom I said sitting down.

Hey baby Lexi she said hugging and kissing my cheek.

I'm fine im ready to pop this baby out.

Oh yeah I'm ready to see my grandson.

Yeah but has my mom been over to talk to you.

No she hasn't but I would like to meet her.

MOM COME HERE PLEASE I screamed across the room. She started walking to us leaving Abel to talk to my cousins and Asia my poor baby they are probably asking him a lot of questions.

Hi I am Alexis's mom she said sitting down.

I'm Abels mom then they both hand shake.

I'm going to leave you two to talk I said getting up from the table. Then I went to go save Abel from my cousins.

Hey girls I'm going to swoop him away from you ok. He quickly got up and we went to the food table and then to our table.

It's ok I can tell they want the best for you lol.

Lol yeah you gotta love them I said.

I looked at my mom's and they were smiling and laughing.

Look baby they like each other I said to Abel.

That's good he said eating some chicken.

20 MINUTES LATER

OK CAN I GET ALEXIS TO COME SIT IN THE CHAIR SO WE CAN START OPENING GIFTS Asia said.

I got uo and sat in the chair in the middle of the room then I looked at the gift table it wasn't a lot of people but a lot of damn gifts.

Some of the those are from the boys Abel said.

Oh ok I was about to say.

45 MINUTES LATER

I was finally done opening up the gifts and it was time to cut the cake. The cake was baby blue and it said congrats its a Boy in white icing. Abel and I cut the cake hand in hand while people took pictures of us. The cake was delicious and everything was perfect I am glad I have a lot of people that care about me and the little family I am creating with Abel.
