I sat up abruptly, wincing at the pain it caused. I was lying in a large bed. The walls of the luxurious room around me were a deep crimson and the soft duvet was scarlet red. I dragged myself from the warmth of the covers and placed my feet on the soft black carpet. I need to know where I am. I looked in the old mirror that hung precariously on the wall. I was now wearing a short black dress accented with a shimmering silver cape and a captivating ruby necklace glittered at me from its perch around my neck. I tore my gaze away from the mirror as the door opened and he walked in. "Israphel." I said restraining the urge to either collapse to the ground shivering in fear, or strangle the demon with my bare hands. "Isabella! How do you like your accommodations?" the pale man asked as if he cared. "In my opinion, it's the nicest place I've ever been kidnapped and taken to. So congratulations." I replied dryly. He frowned. "I didn't kidnap you. I brought you home!" he said. "I consider whacking a person on the head and transporting them to a place against their will kidnapping." I snarled. He frowned. "No, shoving you into the Otherwhere was kidnapping. You know what, why are we even talking about this?!" he bursted, throwing his arms in the air. I raised an eyebrow. "Because you kidnapped me." I replied. "That was a rhetorical questi- oh NEVERMIND! Dinners ready." he said leaving the room. Having no real choice, I followed him, keeping track of every turn and every door I saw. We arrived in a dimly lit dining room and I begrudgingly sat at the table, my only victory being that I was able to sit as far away from my captor as possible without any repercussions. I ate very little of the massive feast that was piled onto the large table. I nibbled lightly on the piece of bread in my hand. "Masssster, do you require anything?" a voice hissed. My head snapped up in surprise. "No. You may leave." Israphel ordered. The glowing Blaze bowed and disappeared from the room. "Master?" I asked skeptically. "I can't have my servants mistreating their king." Israphel replied. "So you're a king now, are you?" I asked. "One and only king of the Nether." he said proudly. I returned to nibbling on my bread. "What did you mean when you said you brought me home?" I asked. "Well, you're my daughter. Have you forgotten?" he asked. I pretended to choke on my food. Of course I haven't forgotten that I'm his daughter! But maybe, just maybe, I can trick him into trust. "I don't know. I remember being at home and then you took me away from my mom." I said acting scared. "That was some time ago, Isabella. What else do you remember?" he asked. "Um. I remember wandering around the world and nobody noticing me for like ten years. But after that, nothing." I said looking down. I forced a fake tear from my eye. "Well, it's okay now. You're home." he said walking over and hugging me. I stiffened for a moment then I forced myself to relax, act scared. I sobbed as dramatically as I could. "Come on, let's take you to bed." he said taking me to my room. I layed on the bed and quieted my fake sobs. He blew out the torch. "I'll see you in the morning. Sweet dreams." he said leaving. I smirked as the door closed. Did I just hear the most powerful demon in Minecraftia wish me sweet dreams? Take that off my bucket list. I want and need to get out of here, but something in me feels a war coming. I need to be ready. I need to use my advantages wisely. And if that means that I have to pretend that I have amnesia to trick a million year old demon, that also happens to be my father, to trust me, then so be it. I'll keep my friends close, but my enemies closer.
Okay. I'll have you know that this chapter is especially for silverwolf1018 who basically begged me to update. So thanks silverwolf1018 for inspiring me to finish this chapter!
