Isabella's POV

I woke up in the cell again. My head was pounding and my vision was...different. What has he done to me? I take a deep breath, about to stand when an angry knock on Duncan's door resonated through the air. "Who is it?" Duncan called from outside. At least I know I'm not underground. "I'm looking for someone so open the hell up." said a voice I was grateful to hear. I heard the door open. "Who is it you're looking for, Ridge?" the scientist asked with genuine confusion in his voice. "Help!!" I screamed banging on my cell door. "Her." the demigod said teleporting down to the cell. I was on my hands and knees, too weak to stand. The demigod looked at me in shock then whirled to face the scientist who had just run into the building. "What the hell, Duncan?!" he shouted angrily. The scientist smirked. "It's not every day you get to test on a Runner, Ridge." he stated, "And why would you be looking for her, anyways?" he added in disgust. I struggled to stand. "Well. Remember when I said that I have powerful friends?" I answered weakly as the world started spinning around me. "Don't you think she's been through enough already?" Ridgedog asked the scientist. Duncan looked a bit confused. "I grew up in the Otherwhere. Not that I was born there, mind you." I clarified. Duncan's eyes filled with curiousity. "Oh really?" he said with great interest. "Yes, and now, we are leaving. So goodbye and never ever touch her again, do you hear me?" Ridge asked menacingly. The scientist gulped, then nodded. Ridge took my hand and everything dissolved as we teleported. My stomach lurched as we appeared in Sick Bay. I collapsed on the sand with the last thing I saw being Zoey and Rythian running towards us.
