Toby's pov

6pm: Finally! The tables are perfectly set up, with a floral touch that Aria had kindly added. The dishes were just about to be served from the kitchen. Barbecue, yum! I haven't had it in a while.

Alison, Emily and Hanna emerged out of the resort giggling hard. I made a confused face. Spencer followed behind them frowning.

"What's up with you guys?" I asked curiously.
They smirked in response. I could see Spencer shrugging, obviously annoyed in some ways.

"Come here Spence," I stretched out my arms and she came closer. I wrapped my arms around her sulky shoulders and led her to the woods nearby.

Spencer's pov

My heart was warmed immediately by the presence of Toby. Should I ask him? No, I'm just a friend to him, he obviously still misses Yvonne.

"Lost in your thoughts?" Toby interrupted. I blinked quickly

"Uhh what?" I hastily replied.

"Wow, a question Spencer Hastings can't answer. Im doing well."

A familiar confused face of Toby appeared. This reminded me of our teenage years, how we teased our for fun every afternoon whilst hunting for A.

We strolled for around 120m, if I counted accurately- to the largest oak. Neither did one of us opened our mouths. But it was a tranquil silence. Sometimes silence speaks its own language.

Aria's pov

Hands tightly held by Ezra, we walked out to join the others. Only to find that Toby and Spencer were missing. I looked around abruptly and asked. The others shrugged and we decided to settle at the table first, hoping that they would show up soon.

Toby's pov

Spencer and I had reached the giant oak tree, admiring its majesty. I soon realized that my arm was still wrapped around Spencer's shoulders- as if it was meant to be there, like a fitting jigsaw: I left it there. God I miss her: I miss her smile; her stubbornness; her strength and everything. She is the most beautiful girl I've ever met, and during my engagement with Yvonne, I never felt the same. Yvonne was nice and ordinary, but Spencer was better. At night, memories would flash of Spencer, I still love her. Looking straight into her chocolate orbs- currently resting upon my shoulder, I melted instantly.

"Tobes, we should head back, the rest are waiting," she said in a soft misty voice. I listened like music, then briefly nodded and we headed back.
