Once they had finished the rabbit, they began talking about what would happen when they hit the dragon kingdom.
"I say we go looking for a place to stay" Synex said.
Badger scoffed.
"I think we should bust in there and beat their as-" he was cut off by Synex slapping him.
"You're so immature" She snapped.
Badger rolled his eyes and rubbed his cheek where she slapped him.
"Whatever." He grumbled.
The sound of wings flapping made them both look up, two dragons, one black and one brown, flew down and landed in front of them. The dragons shifted onto a young girl and boy.
"Trespassers." The girl spat.
The boy just grinned, looking at Synex and crossing his arms over his chest.
"Believe me," Badger stood in front of Synex, causing the boy to frown, "We are only looking for the dragon kingdom, we survived an attack by wolves." He lied.
The girl was obviously suspicious.
"You both don't seem to have injuries." She grumbled.
Great, another Synex Badger thought.
The boy stepped forward.
"Epphinox here is just being a bit rude" He shot a glare at the girl, "We can take you to the kingdom, it's not far."
Synex let out a sigh of relief.
"Great, I can't stand being around this guy" She mumbled, shooting a glare at Badger, if looks could kill, he would be dead by now.
Badger rolled his eyes.
"Alright, so your Epphinox," He pointed to the girl with the long blonde hair, "And you are?"
"Oh, where are my manners," The boy chuckled, "Names Jacob."
Badger sighed, mounting his horse.
"Good," He grumbled, "Now lead the way."
The two shifted into their dragons before flying off, Synex on Angel and Badger on Dash following.
They stopped in front of a huge gate. Dragons sat on top of the large, stone wall that surrounds the city.
Jacob opened the large gates.
"I suggest you don't make eye contact with the dragons." He suggested.
Badger and Synex nodded.
"I don't see why, but, sure." Badger mumbled.
Jacob shuffled over to him, his eyes dark.
"Because they will then know that you're a wolf." He hissed in a whisper.
Badger felt his blood run cold.
"H-how..."
Jacob growled.
"It's obvious to someone like me, now be quiet and do as I tell u" He whispered. They continued walking, the town was like a town from Game of Thrones. People were scattered around and dragons were perched up on the gates, keeping watch.
Badger looked over at Synex, his eyes showing worry.
Synex rolled her eyes and went back to talking with Epphinox.
Jacob turned and looked at Badger.
"You know," He growled, "The only reason I'm doing this is for her." He looked over at Synex.
Badger tilted his head.
"Why her?" He asked.
Jacob looked down.
"She just reminds me of someone."Synex shot a disgusted glare at Jacob.
They all finally hit a motel, Badger and Synex hitching their horses to a hitching post.
Jacob looked at the two.
"Follow me." He ordered.
