Hunted - [Thiam]

Chapter 2

Liam lay on his hotel bed, planning on who to take down next and how.
He was just about to turn off the lights and call it a night when a huge explosion happened, knocking him to the floor.
The whole window was smashed and he bed was covered in bits of chipped wood and glass

Liam knew instantly it was the hunters. He raced out of his room and down the corrider. There he jumped down from a window and started running into the nearby woods.

How did the hunters find out where I was. Liam thought to himself.
However his thoughts were lost when he heard gunshots from behind him.
Liam sped up trying to lose the hunters.

A bullet hit Liams leg but he kept on running and running through the woods until he couldn't and collapsed behind a bunch of boulders.

He could hear the hunters getting closer so he shut his eyes and ears, pretending like nothing was happening and everything was ok.

"I found him!"

A hunter slowly crept up to the boulders, gun ready and waiting to shoot.
Liam lost all hope and stood up trying to reason with the hunter, hoping he would listen.

The hunter didnt listen and pulled the trigger. Liam spread his arms out and looked up, thinking he was going to die when just before the bullet reached Liam, a force pushed him to the ground.

Liam saw Theo jump up and slash the hunter in the neck, killing him. He then proceeded to kill the other 3 hunters.
Liam was in pain because of his leg so he just lay there, tears trickling down his cheeks and eyes slowly closing.

Liam groaned as he slowly opened his eyes. He looked at his leg and bit his lip in pain and confusion. It was still hurting but somehow it had been bandaged. Liam let out a sigh and sat up when it hit him, this wasn't his bed.

Liam looked around and noticed he was in somebody's room.
His memories from last night was faint but bit by bit he started to remember what had happened.

Suddenly Liam burst out into tears and Theo came running into the room looking concerned and upset. He wiped Liam's tears off his cheek and engulfed him in a bear hug.

They stayed holding onto each other for more than 10 minutes.
Theo stroked Liam's hair, trying to comfort him by saying everything will be ok now that they have each other.
Liam felt safe for the first time in years, just by being in Theo's arms and hearing his soft deep voice again.
