Hunted - [Thiam]

Chapter 9

Liam started screaming and crying. Praying this was all a bad dream. He tried running back towards what was left of the warehouse but Derek and Peter stopped him.

The warehouse had been blown to bits.

They dragged him and carried Hayden back towards the woods.

Suddenly there was a second explosion behind them and Liam screamed even more.

He couldn't believe what just happened. Theo gave up his life trying to save him and Hayden.
No no no he is still alive I can feel it. Liam thought to himself.

When they reached to others, Derek explained what had happened and everyone gasped.

Everybody tried their best to comfort Liam but nothing worked. Liam was still screaming for Theo.

Everyone was in tears at this point. Even they couldnt believe what happened.

"What are we going to do about Hayden" Kira whispered.

"I will take her to the hospital in my jeep, the hospital is only 5 minutes away from here".

Stiles got his jeep and placed Hayden who was unconscious in the back of the jeep.

"I will be back in a bit" he said, wiping his eyes. Lydia went him.

Scott woke up and weakly stood up. He went up to Liam and hugged him.

He knew what it felt like to lose a loved one. He understood Liams pain.
Liam calmed down a bit.

Nobody talked for ages, they just sat down, hoping everything would be alright.

After a while the Sherrif and Stiles arrived.

"Lets all stay over at my house" Stiles suggested.
"We could all use some comforting" he sniffed.

Everyone agreed.

Malia, Derek and Peter used their super speed and ran all the way to Stiles house.

Stiles, Lydia and Kira helped support Scott to the jeep.
Then they went back to get Liam but realised he was arguing with the sherrif and deputies.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN I CAN'T GO AND LOOK FOR MY BOYFRIEND" Liam screamed.

"Its not safe kid" the sherrif sighed.

"I dont care, let me go please" Liam broke down in a pool of tears.
"He could be alive".

"I doubt that kid, im sorry but you have to accept the facts, he is dead, nobody could survive that".

Liam suddenly felt numb. He slid down to the ground and just lay there.

All the memories he had before he met Theo again came back.
The feeling of fear and loneliness. Liam couldn't take it anymore.

Stiles picked up Liam and put him in the jeep.

They drove away from the warehouse, away from the physical pain, but not the emotional pain.

As they were driving away a hand reached out from the ruins and slowly a person emerged from it, running away just before the cops reached the warehouse.

[Authors note: In case you are confused, the sherrif is not Stiles dad. Sherrif Stilinski left his job years ago and this is a new sherrif.
If im talking about Stiles dad I will say Sherrif Stilinski even though he isnt a sherrif anymore]
