Hunted - [Thiam]

Chapter 3

Liam looked up after burying his face on Theo's shoulder and hugging him. He saw beautful hazel eyes staring back at him. Liam suddenly felt embarrassed, slowly he moved away from Theo and looked away towards the window. Theo got up from the bed but continued staring at Liam. It was quiet for a few minutes.

"Liam". Theo began
"Theo". Liam began

They had both started talking at the same time but stopped and just shyly smiled at each other.

Theo cleared his throat and began to speak
"Liam, its been a long time".

"Where were you Liam asked".

Theo hesitated to tell him.

if I tell you it might upset you even more Theo thought.

He knew Liam cared too much about people. That's what he liked most about him.

"Well"?  Liam asked.

"I was running away from the hunters just like you" Theo lied.
"until I ran too deep into the forest and found this abandoned house. I have been hiding here for the past year and no hunter has bothered me since".

"Oh, well thanks for saving me back there". "I probably would have di-"

Liam stopped talking because Theo had put his finger on Liams lip.

"Shhh dont ever think or say that again". Theo said softly.

Liam smiled at Theo and Theo couldn't help but smile back. He still felt a bit bitter about not being accepted in Scotts pack but it wasn't Liams fault.

Liam attempted to get up but forgot his leg was still injured and nearly collapsed to the ground. Theo caught him in a hurry  and sat him back on the bed.

"Hey! not so fast". "Where did you think you were going"? "You still haven't healed properly". Theo spoke in a frantic voice.

Theo acted as if he was his mother which made Liam laugh. This was the first time he had laughed in years.

Theo raised an eyebrow at Liam and Liam imediently stopped laughing.

Liam coughed and explained to Theo.
"I need to continue with my plans on what hunters to take down". "I'm already behind my schedule".

Knowing that Liam was planning on leaving somehow upset and disappointed Theo.
Liam kept on talking about his plans but Theo wasn't listening, he was thinking about Liam and everything they had been through together. Thinking about Liam only made his desire for them to stay together stronger.

"Stay with me" Theo interrupted Liam.

Liam looked up at Theo, secretly relieved he made the offer.

"We can fight together, it will be easier". "Also my home is small and hidden from the outside world, no hunters would think to find us in here and you don't need to be on the run anymore". Theo reasoned.

Liam thought for a few seconds and agreed.

"Well then that's settled".
"I am going to get some food so go get some rest now".
"I will be back soon and do not try to stand up or walk, let your leg heal".

Theo started to leave the room but paused and turned to face Liam with a sly grin on his face.

"Just to let you know your going to sleep on that couch after you have healed,  unless you plan to sleep together" Theo smirked.

Theo shut the door leaving Liam speechless.
He grinned to himself and lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling, eventually falling asleep.
