"Yes Scott I am doing fine here in New York."
"I found a job in a cafe and today is my first day".
"No Scott I am not going to run away to England, why would you even think that???!"
"I am going to be fine Scott stop worrying, oh look at the time Im late".
"Bye!".

Liam hung up the phone and raced to change into his uniform.

It had been a year since the "warehouse disaster" and nobody talked about it anymore.
Everybody had moved on.
Liam still thought about Theo time to time but not as much nowadays, he was finally moving on.

Liam moved to New York two weeks ago and found a part time job till he got an actual job.
He was training to be a teacher.

Everybody could relax now. The government finally banned hunting all together and if anyone was caught hunting, they would be sent to prison for a considerable amount of time.

Liam grabbed the keys to his car and raced outside.
It was a very rainy day today.
Liam got in the car and tried to turn it on.
The car just spluttered and then went off.

"Shit" Liam shouted.

His car had died.

Nice one Liam its raining outside and your car isnt working and oh yea its the first day of your job and there are no taxis or buses whatsoever so your going to have to walk for a good 45 minutes he thought to himself.

He reluctantly got out of his car and started running in the rain to his workplace.

By the time he arrived at the cafe, he was 50 minutes late and completely drenched in water.

"Sorry I am lat- ahhh- Liam said, walking into the cafe, slipping and falling onto the ground face flat.

He got up embarrassed and tried to clean himself up.

Everybody in the cafe was laughing and sniggering, apart from this scary looking person who Liam assumed was his boss.

"Your late, dont let it happen again, now go behind the counter and Talia will tell you what to do". He growled.

"Firstly you need dry clothing, go into that back room and you will find yourself a spare pair of clothes"

Liam nodded quickly and ran behind the counter.
He found the extra uniform and sighed.
It was 2 sizes too large.

Liam appeared out of the room wearing a uniform that was very baggy for him.

What a great start Liam thought.

He went up to the girl called Talia.

"So, your the new worker, well welcome!".
"You made quite the entrance" Talia chuckled.

"Eh yea". Liam replied going red in the face again.

Talia spent the next hour teaching him how to serve customers ect and soon Liams shift was over.

He thanked Talia and ran the 45 minutes back to his house.

That night Liam lay on his bed and took out his diary.
He had been writing in it ever since he last saw Theo.
The diary comforted him, made him feel as if he was not lonely.

Dear Diary

Today was a horrible day. I just started my new job and I was bloody late because my car broke down. Worst of all I s l i p p e d in front of like 20 people and had to wear an extra large uniform.
I hate living by myself.
I miss you Theo. I wish you were here to make everything better.

Liam closed his book and realised that he was crying.
He wiped them and tried to think of other things other than Theo.

Liam turned on his phone and found out he had 124 messages from the groupchat Stiles made so we all stayed in contact with each other.

Liam looked at his phone and smiled at them all play fighting with each other and acting all goofy.

He sighed and turned his phone off.
It was a beautiful night, the stars were shining brightly and there was a light breeze.

Liam saw a shooting star and whispered a wish.

He then lay on his back, turned off his light and fell asleep.
