Aesthetic of Misty..... enjoy!! :D
The quote is in here somewhere, can you find it?
"You!" Misty growled.
Every ounce of hatred poured out in that single word. She could feel Rascal staring at her in alarm. The Pack all faced her, shock clear in their gazes.
Misty's glare didn't waver as she stared daggers at a cloudy gray-white she-wolf.
The she-wolf was older. Her eyes gleaming bright green.
Misty was raging so hard she couldn't speak. Tears in her eyes, head low, she bolted toward her den, collapsing on the soft pelt and letting out choked sobs.
Rascal came in a heartbeat later. He sat down beside his mate and pressed his cheek to hers in comfort.
"Talk to me." He whispered.
Misty's ears flattened. She glared at Rascal. "It doesn't matter!" She snapped.
Rascal flinched at her tone. Misty realized he was just trying to help. She took a calming breath and shook her head apologetically.
"I'm sorry, Rascal. I-it's just...." She trailed off. Tears were burning her eyes.
"It's just...?" Rascal asked calmly.
Misty blurted it out."My mother has returned!"
Rascal's eyes widened. "T-that was her?" His voice was shaking.
She nodded. "I don't know why she came back," Misty snarled. "It's not like she ever cared before."
Rascal was silent for a moment. "What about your father?"
Misty shook her head. "I didn't see him. But there were some other wolves with her."
She couldn't believe what was happening. Anxiety weighed down on her chest. A sick feeling dropped in the pit of her stomach. Every negative emotion was pushing her down. Thoughts spun in her mind. Her heart accelerated three times the normal beat. She shook her head, on the verge of hyperventilating and passing out.
Rascal nudged her softly. "Let's go out. I know you're upset, but it's best to get the greeting over with."
As much as she hated it, she knew Rascal was right.
Misty snorted. "I wouldn't exactly say she's welcome." She reluctantly got to her paws and slowly walked after Rascal.
He pressed his pelt to hers, letting her know he'd be there for her. Misty felt her heart thump wildly. She really wasn't looking forward to this.
The Pack parted, and Misty's mother padded through. Her head was high. She looked like the older version of Misty, but with a darker pelt.
Her mother smiled. "Misty. My precious pup." She whispered in awe.
"Heather." Misty greeted her mother sourly.
Heather was scanning Misty from head to tail. Her eyes were shining. "You're grown up."
"Of course I am. You haven't seen me in years," Bravely, she added. "I've grown up fine, thanks to Aurora."
Without you! She spat to herself.
Heather ignored Misty's tone. She gestured behind her, and three wolves came to her side. "I'd like you to meet a few wolves."
She flicked her tail to the huge, dark brown male with blue eyes. "This is my mate, Magnus." She gestured to a small lithe, light brown she-wolf with green eyes. "This is Violet." And she beckoned for a cream and brown she-wolf to come forward. "This is Velvet. Violet and Velvet are your half-sisters."
