My mother had been going behind my back with my father. Sending gifts back to an old friend of mine.
My privacy had no value in this house hold but my sister does.Since I'm the oldest I'm bound to get prodded and picked on.
As it is me and my old friend aren't on the best of terms...

"Mother, why did you send him that letter. I told you not to..." my eyes rolled up to view the sculpted french pavilion ceiling.
My mother's demands over bearing my chance to think up solutions to fix this problem.
"Ashton, it's for your own sake. You kept ignoring me so me and your farther decided for you-" but her explanation was cut short.
"-but it isn't your decision!. I'm still a human being mum-I'm old enough!" I paused, taking in air to calm my anger. "-getting married is my decision. Not yours!" I didn't stick around to find out what their response was only run up the marble stair and into my room.
The only place I can get piece and quiet.
The door slammed, nearly hitting my family pet as she came in before it closed behind."I'm sorry-Monty" I apologise, stroking the back off her ear and under her chin.
even though I was allergic to cats it didn't matter to me.
My sneezing eventually stops.
My phone went to ring three times before I managed to stop praising the family cat and answer the call.
But it went to voicemail before I could.
I preferred texting but I guess it must be important since I have missed their call six times.
I press the callers number from my recent call record since I hadn't had that number save to my phone. It was pest to save them. So I chose not to but I hadn't known I'd regret that after getting a ring from the other side.
The ringing stopped letting the person on the other side of the phone adjust their phone before I spoke.
"Hello?-who is this...?" I spoke cautiously.Not thinking I knew the person or had any connection.
"Ashton...hey-it's me. Luke" and my heart stuttered.
I already had his number.
We just got distant lately thanks to our parents.
He couldn't of changed numbers in two weeks?.
Randomly.
"Luke! .Hi-hey. Um sorry your numbers different I didn't know that was you-I'm sorry I missed your call-"
