Ceremony of Nyx

"Wait." I said as I ran after Andrew and he turned around looking at me. "You're the tracker that marked me yesterday aren't you?" He walked closer to me and I froze. "Yes I'm glad you were able to find your way here and that you were able to get free from your father." I sighed feeling more like a freak. "So l guess the whole school knows what happened yesterday huh?" He nodded and then he put his hands in his pockets. "It'll get better I'm sure of it now I need to go see you in poetry class miss Scarlett." I then looked at my schedule and saw that I had breakfast, vampire history, fencing class, poetry, voice, lunch, Equestrian studies, Math, and Interpretive Dancing. Serena then came up behind me "Come on we're gonna be late for the announcements." She then grabbed my hand and started pulling me to Nyx's temple when we bumped into Erebus and I froze. "I'll meet you inside ok Scarlett." We were then left alone together just staring at each other. "Scarlett about earlier this morning I hope I wasn't too forward with what I said I really do want something to be between us please will you uh sit with me during the ceremony?" I nodded and we walked in and sat down next to Serena. I then everyone looking at me with jealousy but I ignored it. Soon four people in robes walked into the middle of the circle and then the priestess Johanna walked in. "Welcome my feldgings it gives me great pleasure to welcome you all to a new night as a child of Nyx." She then smiled at me and bowed at Erebus. "For my first anouncment I want to welcome miss Scarlett to our school I know the events of her arrival must have shocked some of you but we must not dwell on it, second I want you all to welcome her here with the same respect that we show to everyone else, and third I want to thank Erebus for joining us in our circle and protecting our new fedling yesterday." She then smiled sweetly at Erebus and at me "Now please join me in the ceremony of Nyx." The four men and women then came around and one by one they put a pentacle on our foreheads. Once that was finished they all returned to the circle and then they all moved to certain points of the circle and Johanna went to the middle. "I'll help you in following with the ceremony just watch and do as I do." Johanna then went to the one with the blue candle and put her and incent lighting stick to it. "I ask for air to enter our circle and bring peace and cleansing to those that were affected by the events of yesterday." I then moved to the east with everyone else, and as I did I could feel a presence near me. "I call fire to this circle may it warm our hearts and bodies to relax once again." Erebus then moved clockwise to the South end I followed with him. " I call water to this circle to wash away any unwanted pain and sadness from those here tonight." Erebus then grabbed my hand and helped me move to the west. "Now I call Earth to our circle to flow through us with smells of fresh cut grass that will make us move forward in our lives so live with happiness." Erebus then helped me move and when I opened my eyes were all facing the center of the circle. Johanna then moved to her candle in the center. "I last I call spirit to this circle to guide these souls into the future with open hearts and minds." She then lit her candle and I felt Erebus squeeze my hand. "You did well now close your eyes and listen." As I closed my eyes again I heard a voice in my head. "In the tower at midnight come to me."
