A Spider's Journey Pt.3

"So I came to Japan to do my training but...".It had been five days since Peter had started his training with Yamato. So far the boy had been made to carry buckets of water,clean the whole dojo,and now he was forced to balance on a pole with his left foot while he had books stacked on his head as Yamato looked at him."Switch now!" The man yelled as Peter quickly jumped up and switched his left foot to his right foot before he fell over."This is more like torture...or karate kid training...yeah maybe not". The book than fell over and hit Peter on the head."Ow!"."You just work on your technique young spider" Yamato said with a sigh as Peter looked at him."Gee I didn't know that"."Sometimes the best way to learn" Yamato than walked out of the dojo and signaled Peter to follow him "Is to let go of everything". The two walked towards a massive garden with a stone pound that had a waterfall as Yamato raised his cain and than tapped the rocks near the waterfall making it open."Go on ahead young spider"."What is this..." Peter asked as he looked at the elderly sensei."Your next step in order to fully be trained. Now go". Peter looked at Yamato before he turned his attention to the cave and walked into it as the waterfall covered the entrance once more.

The teen jumped back a bit,but turned his attention back to the cave as he kept walking further into it."I'm gonna have nightmares I just know I will..".The boy kept walking further and further into the cave darkness surrounded him. He suddenly stopped walking as he started to think about his team and all the times he had doubted himself as the leader. His mind than flashed to his past relationships and how each of them had left him a bit heart broken and he wished he could of treated his exs better and been a better boyfriend. His mind than flashed to his mother,Tony,Steve and the rest of Avengers and the Juveniles,his friends. His worst fear is them leaving them behind."Stop thinking,stop thinking..."He than fell to his knees as his mind flashed through his worst fears and will the past tragedies he had been through "Why can't I stop thinking...". The boy kept breathing heavily as he closed his eyes and held his head as he was on the verge of tears. Ready to cry like a little boy who wanted his mom to save him and protect him.

He than heard a buzzing noise,the sound of small wings and opened his eyes as he saw glowing lights in the distance. The lights got closer and closer as Peter stood back up ready to fight before he was the lights to be a bunch of fireflies. The teen looked at them and felt warm and safe as they lit up the darkness around him as they flew closer towards him.Peter caught the fireflies and held then in his hands not crushing them as he took a deep breathe and closed his eyes. The boy than opened his hands as the fireflies flew out lighting up the cave with bright green lights. He smiled softly as he turned back and started to walk out of the cave as he felt a huge wave be lifted from his shoulders."I feel.." He than saw the waterfall as it opened up with light shining into the cave as Yamato looked at him with a smile "Great"."Now with your mind clear" Yamato said as he looked at the teen "Your training can fully begin"."Bring it on,Sensei".
