I laughed before answering. “Well, you should know these kinds of things as a best friend… I like a guy who’s gentle, mysterious, someone who looks uncaring but in reality; over protective. And of course a guy who would see me beyond my weird side.”
He murmured something that sounds like, “I hope it’s not….” And I didn’t know the name he said.
He smiled gently and then we stopped. We’re at the principal’s office now.

Dylan’s Point of View
Damn that Aaron! He’s always making a scene. We just gotten over being the topic of every mouth of Lanrete and now we’re back as a topic. I hate that guy ever since we met. And I know he hated me as well. Being an A rank just like him. I knew he felt that I was his biggest competition for him. How did I became an A rank? Here’s the story.
When I reached Lanrete Academy I was ten years old and with a background like mine you’d get a lot of wanna be sponsors. But there’s one guy who offered me all the things I need or rather we; including Venn. My sponsor was reluctant at first when I told him that things I will do for him will be kept from Lanrete. He would only be communicating to me to run errands anytime he wishes. And with that he agreed. Of course delighted with my service he gave me luxury. A suite in the academy was one of them, special treatments, a table all to myself in the dining hall, my sponsor would even buy me the position of being an A rank student but I didn’t need it. Mr. Hawks and Ms. Grace had all my data in their hands; my records including my Fire producing ability, my explicit IQ and my physical abilities. They also found out that I had been to Chevese even before I had enrolled in Lanrete. And they found out that while I was there I had tamed a demon. Well, that part was not exactly the truth.
Venn have taken me to Chevese a lot of times before we reached Lanrete. And when I came there somehow creatures from Chevese sensed Venn Carcii’s aura. And so they saw me as a threat to their race. But I won’t let them step on me just like that. With my inborn fire ability and Venn Carcii’s, I defeated them all. But still had doubts in me. Then I found out from one of the elderly what Venn Carcii, the vanished God of Chevese did to Eternal.

A/N: Hey guys it’s not yet time to tell you what Venn Carcii did that made him a WANTED CRIMINAL in Eternal… but it’ll appear in the next chapters.

Venn constantly tells me his side of the story. And found that he’s more unfortunate than I am, if I had been rejected by a lot of families that tried to adopt me he was rejected by his Kingdom, by Eternal. If I was accused on burning and killing the people inside an orphanage he was accused of killing someone not only important to Eternal but someone important to him as well. I believed him, I wanted to help him but of course I can’t. What I can only do for him for now is lend my body to him during my sleep at night that’s what he said when I asked him how I would be a help to him. He also thinks it is best to tell people in the academy that he tamed an ordinary demon in Chevese. He warned me that if ever someone finds out that he’s the demon I tamed he’ll be killed and because he’s residing in my body I’ll be killed with him. We don’t want that, for now, especially now that I found someone worth living for. But of course I can’t have the all so special Halo Mists all to myself being the best friend. Venn I think is interested with Halo. And having him in my body I can hear his thoughts, what he’s planning to do with Halo, what he wants to do to Halo. That’s why as much as possible I am sleeping more during the day time for him not to be able to take over my body during the night time.
And now, Venn Carcii is not the only one who’s interested with Halo of all people in the academy it had t Aaron Hearst, I don’t know if he really likes Halo or he just wants to take her away from me. You know the competition thing. He thinks that I’m taking everything from him. Everyone may think that he’s good with everything, and is a kind hearted guy but in reality he’s just one of those students who are being eaten up by their jealousy. I don’t know why, but I enjoy seeing him struggle so hard to reach wherever I may be then would just take one plain step and I was way ahead of him again. XD Well, that’s my bad side, that’s actually how I think.
Yeah, no guy I think is perfect. I’m arrogant, rude and a snob, I hate it when people get too close to me so I push them away from me. It’s a different story when it comes to Halo. She’s way different from everyone I’ve known. And I think everyone in Lanrete sees that even Mr. Hawks was surprised that I had announced that I chose someone to be my assistant/servant/slave not only someone but a new enrolled student .
But I think Aaron doesn’t have a chance on getting too close with Halo, but with Venn Carcii she’s getting too attached. She’s even asking Venn to stay longer. I need them both out of Halo’s life they’re not a good company for Halo. They both spell trouble.

“Dylan?” Venn said.
“Yeah?”
“You know I’m right here in your head hearing all your thoughts right?” Venn said laughing.
“I wanted you to hear my thoughts. I’m no idiot Venn to forget that the vanished God of Chevese is residing in my body. I’m no moron to forget that I’m sharing a body with the notorious Venn Carcii.”
Venn stopped laughing then said, “Good to know that Dylan Skies is acknowledging my presence in his body.”
Then Halo’s eyes met mine.
“Hey, Dylan? You there? Shall we enter the Principal’s office?” Then she smiled.
“Yes.” I will take her to Eternal and her find her place there. If she wasn’t accepted in the human world, I bet she would be very much welcomed in Eternal especially in Sotteria. And if ever she doesn’t find her place there, she’s welcome in my life. Yeah…. I know what you’re thinking. And whatever that is. I guess it’s true. XD
