Chapter 4: You Show Duel School

     Ok, so he guessed Yuya didn't want to be Sora's duel guru.

    Sora followed him, everyday, waiting eagerly for his first lesson with Yuya, but apparently Yuya was annoyed by this, saying he won't teach him. Sora just kept lached onto him, he followed him at school, at his house, even at You Show Duel School. He thought that Yuya was down lately because of the incident with Zuzu, which was the girl's name, and the one wit is mother, and the one . . . yeah. Sora knew he was annoying Yuya, but he had to teach him how to Pendulum Summon, or at least battle with him. Sora waited for Yuya in You Show, and that's when Yuya came in.

     "All right, who's ready to duel? The one and only Yuya Sakaki has arrived to take center stage." Yuya said in his usual happy tone.

     "Ah," Sora stood up, "what's up Coach Y?"

     Yuya groaned. "Wait, what are you doing here?" Good question since Sora hadn't enrolled in the You Show.

     Frederick answered. "He came to meet you for his first lesson."

     "It's rude to keep your students waiting, Yuya." Allie said in a sing-song voice. 

     "But he's not-" Skip Boyle, the owner and teacher of You Show, interrupted by pulling Yuya back.

     "Yuya, I'm proud you chose to entertrain  your first pupil here, and I'm even prouder that he'll be enrolling in our school. Right? No pressure!" He was kind of silly.

     "Listen  to me! He's not my student!"

     "Come on! What are we waiting for, Coach? We gotta tackle our first dueling lesson, right? Then let's get to it! I want to learn how to Pendulum Summon from the best of the best! I'm counting on you to turn me into a duel-taining whiz kid."

     "How many times do I have to say no before you stop asking?" Yuya said, clearly annoyed.

     "Huh. Good question. Look Coach, I'll make you a deal." Sora turned on his cutest face imaginable. "Just duel me this once and I'll never bother you again."

     "That sounds like a fair deal to me." said Allie mesmerized.

     "You can't turn him down Yuya." said Frederick, also mesmerized by Sora's spell.

     Yuya shuddered. It seemed like a total nightmare for him.

     "Aw, come on Yuya, it's only one simple duel." Zuzu was also mesmerized!

     "Yuya, if you turn down this poor kid, it will bring dishonor to the reputation of the You Show Duel School, not to mention we'd have to give back his tuition money."

     "Please, Coach Y?" said Sora. "Let's duel. Pretty please?" Sora did the cutest face imaginable, plus the baby-doll eyes, but it didn't seem to work on him.

     "You can ask me a million times, and I'll still tell you no."

     Sora whimpered now, getting real close to Yuya's face. This seemed to lower Yuya's guard down.

     "Ah . . ." 

     "Please, please, please, please, please, please . . ."

     He sighed. "Except for this one time only." 

     "Whoo-hoo!"

     "But listen. You have to promise that if I win, You'll stop following me everywhere, and you won't ask me to teach you, or call me Coach, agreed?"

     "Mm-hmm. But if I win, I'll be your student and I can call you Coach, plus I can follow you around as much as I want." 

     Yuya shuddered. We settled in the duel area.

     Skip started talking. "And so begins and epic showdown between our resident Pendulum expert and his wannabe student!"

     "Wow, this is really happening!" Sora couldn't believe it. He'd been wanting to duel Yuya since Leo Institute, and that had been in weeks ago.

     "Duelists, get ready . . . to duel!" Skip screamed at the top of his lungs. "Our cardslingers will clash in the Wildest West!" The action field generated all along them. 

     "Don't you have a cooler field?" Sora said. "This one's kind of weak."

     "Huh?" humphed Skip.

     "Use some imagination. I want to duel Yuya somewhere sweeter than this."

     "Uh, let me think. Okay . . . go!"

      The computer generated the action field. It was a candyland filled with every type of sweets imaginable. It had caramel, chocolate, lollipops, and a whole lot more! Sora barely resisted to stop the duel to eat. 

     "Ohh . . . yum! That's more like it! Now this field's a treat. It's awesome! You're the best!"

     "How cute!"

     Yuya sighed. "Give me a break." Yuya got his duel disk out in his duel-taining flashiness. Sora got his out too. I hope they don't say anything about my duel disk, said Sora in his mind.

    "Now get set for a duel of delicious delights!" Zuzu said.

     "It's teacher against student, ha ha!" Tate said.

     "This battle will have you rolling with excitement." Frederick declared.

     "'Cause only one will rule this sweet treat of a duel." Allie spoke.

     "The action begins . . ." Yuya spoke.

     "NOW!" Yuya and Sora said at the same time.

     Before Sora knew it, he was battling the duel-taining champion Yuya Sakaki.
