      Action cards dispersed.

"DUEL! My draw!" Sora said, as he reached into his deck. "I activate the spell card, Toy Vendor! this card lets me discard one card, and then draw out one card and show it! If it's a Fluffal monster, I can Special Summon one card from my hand. Here goes!"

Sora reached into his hand. "Eh, I'l discard this one."

"I draw!" He looked at the card overjoyed. "Yeah, come on out Fluffal Bear!  Here goes, I draw again! Yeah! Come on out, Fluffal Leo! I set on card face down. Your turn Yuya!"

"I draw! Light the stage, Performapal Hip Hippo! Let's go for a ride!" Yuya said as he rode his hippo, evading all of the sugary obstacles in his way. Yuya then disappeared behind a couple of desserts.

"Oh no, you don't! I want to see you Coach Y! Fluffal Leo, get ready to pounce!" Fluffal Leo advanced, running toward Yuya and his hippo. Yuya was suddenly visible, then he smirked.

"You can't beat me! I activate the spell card Evasion! This allows me to dodge your attack without even a scratch!" Hmm. Not bad Yuya, thought Sora, disappearing from Sora's line of sight to get an Action Card— not bad at all, but you could be better. That's when Sora noticed that Yuya was about to crash into a chocolate roll. Sora immediately regretted complimenting him.

You couldn't hear the others screaming, but it was clear that they were trying to warn him, by making hand signs, or jumping up and down. Yuya still crashed into the roll, and appeared at the top.

"Yuya, I love candy too, but can you desert dive later? Now, while you're stuffing yourself with candy, my Fluffal Bear is gonna to attack! Get us a sweet victory Fluffal Bear!" All of the sudden, Sora regretted his mistake, as he saw Yuya pull up another action card. Ugh, it was in the chocolate! How could he not have seen this coming?! Maybe he was underestimating him too much . . .

"I activate the sweetest card in the field, Candy Shower! This spell card switches Fluffal Bear into defense mode." It was raining candy, and, Fluffal Bear was . . .

"Fluffal Bear, you should be attacking Yuya's hippo, not that candy!" The something happened.

Sora began to feel dizzy, there were stars in his eyes, the world was shrouded in darkness. He was experiencing another blackout. Sora, don't. You can't do this now, come on, relax . . . he said to himself. He could not blow up his cover this early, he just couldn't . . . okay he was back in the fight, but wait.

Yuya had eliminated his Fluffal Leo, and all that was left in the field, was his Frightfur Bear. He Fusion summoned? Oh no . . . he hoped he hadn't done anything harsh. Meanwhile, in Yuya's field, he had set he Pendulum scale, with Stargazer Magician, and Timegazer Magician. He had summoned Skeeter Skimmer, Sword Fish, and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. Oh no! He had missed the summoning yet again. What just happened?! Well, to resume.

"Well, now we can really start dueling, Coach! My Frightfur Bear will bask in the sweetest victory! Now Frightfur Bear, send Yuya's hippo away!"

"Yuya went flying into some liquid caramel, then I'm going to activate my monster's effect! My monster can equip itself with whatever monster it just destroyed! Chow down, Frightfur Bear!"

     Yuya looked worried now. Sora got dizzier . . . his head hurt now . . . resist . . .  he couldn't hold it anymore . . .

Sora was in a dark room, sitting in a chair, his arms and feet tied against the chair. A black sillouette walked towards him, in silence. Sora felt pain, agonizing pain, like you had never experienced before. The silloutte came, it put its dark hand in Sora's mouth. He couldn't move, he couldn't scream . . . he couldn't breath . . .

Now Sora was in an alleyway. He walked towards the street, and he could see cards on the floor. The people in them had bloody, tortured faces — the people who he had turned into cards. He ran and ran and ran into the street, but to no avail; the alley seemed infinite. He kept running, and suddenly his legs stopped upon one card. It featured a little girl, with light blue hair and green eyes like his. She was crying, she screamed his name over and over, begging for his help, but suddenly she stopped; she was dead.  He felt tears in his eyes, and his breath slowly abandoning him. He couldn't do anything . . . he couldn't save her . . .

Suddenly, his sense snapped back to him. HE was back in the duel, and he saw Odd-Eyes running right towards him, he had no cards in his field. Well, I guess it was too dangerous after all . . . he said to himself in his head.

He heard Yuya scream, "Spiral Flame Strike!" an he knew it was over. At least he risks revealing less this way . . . "That's a wrap!"

Sora fell backward into some whipped cream, feeling incredibly exhausted. Even though he lost, he still wanted to hang around at the You Show, and complete his mission . . . Sora felt tired, he just stayed in the ground . . .so tired . . .

He then heard Yuya's voice. "Sora, I think you might be the most clever opponent I've ever faced." Oh no! He revealed strength! This is bad. "It's obvious you don't need coaching—"

"What a blast! That duel totally rocked! It was awesome! Thank you Yuya!"

"Huh? Yuya? You're not calling me "Coach" anymore?"

"Well, you don't want me to be your student. So instead, I'll become your best friend!"

"You're not my best fri —"

"Great duel guys! Since Sora here's your best friend, I'm going to discount his tuition. You are enrolling, right?" questioned Skip.

"After that duel, I wouldn't go to the Leo Institute for anything!" Sora declared.

"All right! I can pay this month's electric bill! I'll go get your sign up forms!" The he ran off. He really is silly.

"I don't get it, if you never signed up at the Leo, where did you learn how to Fusion summon?" asked Yuya. Oh no, personal question. Need to avoid at all costs.

Sora chuckled. "Where I come from, Fusion Summoning is really common. Everybody uses it!"

"Huh, really? So, like, where did you grow up?" Yuya asked. He's difficult.

"I'm too hungry to talk about it now. Let's go to your house for dinner, okay pal?" Phew, Sora barely avoided that question. Could Yuya be onto him?

"To my house? I'm not sure this friendship this is a good idea." he pouted and looked away.

Sora put his hand on his shoulder. "Afterwards, wanna watch a movie?"

       Yuya growled. "Go away!"

"Or maybe we can go to the mall or play a game."

"I have a game for ya, it's called leave me ALONE!" He started chasing Sora.

Maybe, mission 24 isn't going to be that boring after all.

[Okay, there you have it. I'm sorry I'm not that good at writing duels, much less playing them. And I'm sorry I took a LONG time in making this, and that the chapter is so short. I had considered abandoning the story, and I'm sorry. But now, I'll continue, every week or so there will be updates. Thank you for reading!

The question for this chapter is:

Where did Sora train to become a Duel Soldier?
