(Hey duelists! I'm extremely sorry that I haven't been publishing chapters on a daily, or weekly basis, like a normal writer should. Long story short, my pendulum necklace has not been swinging my way lately, but like Yusho Sakaki said, "the pendulum will swing your way". Also thank you for the reads, honestly I don't have much reads, but all of you readers are gold to me, so thank you so much! Also, I don't know if you saw my new story cover, and I give credit to Canva! Ok, seriously, sorry for wasting your time, read on. LET'S DUEL!)

     ☺☺☺

Okay, the institute wasn't ginormous. It was a whole lot bigger than that. Sora was distracted a paper that said all the classes they offer. He plucked a pink lollipop in his mouth. "Wow, in the first tier you learn the basics, then on the other tiers you can learn Fusion, Synchro . . . and Xyz Summoning! Ugh . . ." Sora hated those Xyz scum. Good thing Duel Academy made them extinct . . . heh, heh. He loved turning them into cards, it was simply a super fun hunting game, except it isn't a simulator. He couldn't wait until the Obelisk Force comes and invades the Standard Dimension!

He continued walking, but something caught his eye. A boy about fourteen, with red and green hair was talking to his friends about the curriculum that Sora had just been seeing.

"Their classes are unbelievable! You can learn Xyz Summoning, Synchro Summoning . . . Whoa! You can even learn Fusion Summoning!"

That caught Sora's eyes, as he turned to looked back at him. He did not know who he was, yet he felt like he had seen him somewhere . . . eh. He continued walking, as he felt the boys eyes on his back. As Sora kept walking, he kept a close ear to their conversation:

     "Yuya!" said a female voice.

A  voice, which he recognized to be Sylvio's, said: "The central dueling zone is this way." After that they left. Hmmm . . . dueling zone? Well, I am a little bored, he thought as he followed the crowd without them being able to spot Sora.

☺☺☺

      "Wow! Wow!" Wow indeed.

The dueling area was huge! It was bigger than Duel Academy's! It was big, huge and blue, with millions of aqua green bleachers surrounding the middle, so the audience can watch the duel like a hawk. It was open at the top, so the sun could shine through. That's when things went bad.

Sora couldn't hear much of the conversation, since he was behind the crystal still at the academy, but before you knew it Sylvio took the boys cards away. He knew Sylvio was acting too nice! But then if Sylvio wanted the boys cards . . .

*FLASHBACK*

"Sylvio, why do you want that runts cards so badly?"

"You mean Yuya Sakaki? Well, it's simply because he can Pendulum Summon. I heard that up to now, there is no one who can Pendulum Summon except that dolt. Big deal, he discovered Pendulum Summoning!  And so I plan to simply steal his cards." He smirked. "And all is going according to plan." He then laughed cruelly.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

Wait! That where he recognized him! He was Yusho Sakaki's son, Yuya Sakaki! He discovered Pendulum Summon, and defeated his father's greatest enemy, the Sledgehammer. Yuya Sakaki, famous dueltainer . . . yeah his duel is definitely going to be worth watching.

Before Sora knew it, Sylvio had Yuya's friends sky high atop Prison Tower, in Darkville. If they fall, the fall will not be pretty . . .that ARC-V system is really advanced and modern. Wow Sylvio, he can actually play pretty dirty, but his ego is bigger than Yuri's. Sora was sure that Yuya could beat him, even with the useless deck that Sylvio had given him in exchange for the Pendulum Cards. Ahhh, the purpose of this was for Yuya to teach him how to Pendulum Summon. Hmm . . . could Sylvio actually be doing something smart? Or is his plan completely flawed and useless? Wait . . .

Sora left the duel area. He had to find him . . . where was he? Sora ran through all the academy, up and down stairs, elevators, the classrooms, hallways but he couldn't find him.

"Arrrggg!!! Where could he be!" That's when it came to him. He hadn't looked in the more specific places . . . the bathroom!  He had to be in the bathroom. He entered, and sure enough he was there. One of Sylvio's goons. Perfect, Sora could mess with him.

"Hello." He said giving an evil smirk. "Do you know what Sylvio intends on doing with Yuya?" He said seriously now, halting his voice to not more of a whisper.

"What? Wh- why should I tell you?" Ha, ha! Fun. He was scared.

"Because," He leaned towards him with each word, "if you don't tell me, something very bad is going to happen to all of your loved ones, and all of your friends I'll make sure of it." He had his face three inches away from the goon's face now. "I'm not scared of anyone, hear me? 'Cause even the most dangerous look less scary when they're dead." He made a a thin long smile spread across his face.

If the goon wasn't scared then, he was scared now. "Okay! Sylvio in- intends on st- stealing Yuya's cards, and th- then getting rid of Yuya so he can ju- just say he inherited them." Then he just started bawling on the floor like a miserable baby.

"Look, I'll put you out of your misery."

"Wait, please no! NOOOOOOO!!!" His card floated down to Sora's hand, and he saw that the goon had a horrified face on him. What was he forgetting . . . the duel! He went back the the duel area, but this time he entered unnoticed and stood camouflaged on a corner.

"What the-" Sylvio got attacked by a Block Spider and lost. Pathetic, but Sora liked how his Dart Strikers looked. When the Action Field disappeared Sylvio was kneeled on the ground, while Yuya was celebrating with his friend and checking if they were okay. That Pendulum Summon stood out in a way Sora can't explain. The Professor will love this . . . and so will he. He NEEDED to learn Pendulum Summoning. Sora wants to be a dueltainer . . . He needed to find a way for Yuya, the best dueltainer, to teach him.

Sylvio said, "You won the duel but you're losing the Pendulum Cards!" he staggered. "Get him! guys!" Nope. That isn't going to happen.

Before the guys could rush foward, Sora attacked with his lollipop stick, leaving everyone dumbfounded and three teenage boys on the floor. Finally he attacked Sylvio on the forehead, and he was and the floor too.

"Let that be a lesson. Yuya rules, and bullies drool!"

"Uh, who are you?" said the tomato-haired boy.

"Someone who was amped by your sweet skills!"

"So do you study here at the Leo Institute?"

"I was considering it, but your moves changed my mind. I'm making you my duel guru!" There were surprised shocks from everyone."

"Say what? You want me to teach you dueling?"

"Yup! If I want to bear down and learn how to duel, I want to have fun! Your duel wasn't the most impressive I ever saw, but it was the most duel-taining!"

"How'd you stop and drop those guys?" The same female from from later said, pointing at the fallen guys.

"I just caught 'em by surprise." He couldn't say anything, absolutely anything personal about him. "It was no big deal! My name's Sora by the way! It's cool to meet you guys!" Sora extended his hand.

"Yeah! Great to meet you, too!" Yuya gladly shook it.
