Sora felt suprised and confused. A few seconds ago, he had been in the Fusion Dimension, or more especifically his home, Duel Academy. He'd been dueling Yuri, world-class jerk who seemed to have lost his brain now that his head was filled with his overconfidence and ego. Sora blacked out in the middle of the duel and he just guessed that the duel ended in a tie. But now he may never know, because the Professor whisked him away from Duel Academy and out of nowhere before he could ask Yuri, and announced that he'd have to complete mission 24: acquire information about the dimension.

Now, mission 24 can't be accomplished by going to the local library. No . . . . it used a harsh method; you have to make a certain crowd or group of people trust you, and then you have to report back every single thing. Why a harsh method you ask? Because Sora had to make friends . . . something he'd never been willing to do. Sora didn't care about making friends . . . he was always focused on being the top duelist to care about friendships. But now, he'd have to reinvented himself and two questions were hovering in his head: How do I duel without hurting other people? And, how do I keep myself from revealing my secret identity?

"Hmmm . . . first of all I need an academy to enroll in to learn how they duel."  he thought.

He looked at his surroundings. Clear, blue skies could be seen with fluffy, white clouds. Huge, overwhelming buildings ruled the city each one in every single spot available in the city. Kids were playing with duel cards and adults were talking with each other happily laughing. That's when Sora noticed a group of boys, but the thing that interested him more, were the badges they were wearing. They were little, shiny, blue badges with the word LEO on it. Sora wondered if LEO meant something, "Maybe an academy?", he thought hopefully.

"Hiya!" He ran over to the boys. To his embarrassment, they where all at least a foot taller than him, and they looked older too.

"Huh?" Said a guy with a taunting kind of voice. "Troy, was that you?"

The one who was Troy said, "No, Sylvio. It was this little blue boy down there."

"Huh?" Sylvio looked down. "Oh, what do you want little runt? Don't try anything silly, my father is running for mayor, you know . . ."

Sora scoffed. He didn't like this guy one bit, but he focused on his main goal. "Sorry to bother you but, from where are those badges from?" He said a little too quickly.

There was silence for a little while. The wind whistled and green leaves flew around the road. Then one by one, there was an outburst of laughter that sounded like parrots screaming. Sora decided to play the innocent card.

"Huh, did I do something wrong?" Sora said pretending to be oblivious.

"SQUACK, SQUACK, SQUACK! You don't know what these are?! I can't believe . . . the number one academy in the world for winners . . . You seriously don't know what these are, loser?!" He pointed to the badges, but Sora just shrugged, barely able to contain the punch he wanted to aim at Sylvio's face.

"Please tell me where it is! Please, please, please, please, please, please, please . . . PLEASE!!!" He flashed his cutest baby-doll eyes. People said Sora was cute, so he used it to his advantage, mostly to get free candy, of course.

     "No! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . er, FINE! I'll tell you, runt." said the one named Sylvio. It's right there. He pointed to one of the buildings in the street.

     "Thank you!" Sora ran off.

☺☺☺

     The LEO Institute was huge.

Sora couldn't even count the floors on it. He counted about 25, but gave up, as there was a lot more floors. Long, clear windows were all over it in straight lines. At the very top of the building, which he had to stand in his toes to see, was the word LEO in yellow, shiny words. Sora, out of curiosity, couldn't wait anymore and so he went inside.

If the building was huge, the inside was ginormous. The halls were overfilled with students of the academy, all playing with their decks or just laying back, hearing music. Sora noticed a very well-dressed lady. Maybe she's an employee, he thought.

"Excuse me!" He ran up to her.

"Hi, welcome to the Leo Institute of Dueling! Can I help you?" said the friendly-looking lady.

"Yes, how can I get into this academy?"

"Hmmm . . ." She looked into a tablet. "I believe you must have at least participated in 30 duels this year, with at least an 70% winning rate. These requirements are made to be fairly close to the Junior Arc League Championships' . . . let's see, what's your name?"

     "Sora. Sora Perse."

"Ah! All right! Sora Perse. Wow! You have fought 34 duels this year, and with 32 wins! That is amazing young man! Tell me, why do you want to be in this academy?"

"Er . . . I heard it's the best academy if you want to win. And I also heard it's number one worldwide . . . I want to learn in the very best academy!" Sora said a little desperate.

"Okay! You're in!" said the lady.

"Really?" Sora said baffled. "I don't have to duel anyone or anything? There's no test?"

"Of course not! It's based on the requirements of having an 70% winning rate. As you pass through the tiers, there will be more requirements. There will be no one to give you a tour, so why don't you take a walk around the grounds?"

Sora set off, satisfied that he was a member of the most powerful academy worldwide.
