Each day was another horrifying reminder for Rose and Jay, telling them they could never be together.
Day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute, second by second, they would keep transforming into living and dead, which they would truly love to be for eternity, but only if Rose and Jay could be with each other in eternity. They felt they did not want to be near each other, because they feared they would be hated by their soulmate.
They felt that what they had almost turned into is just another reminder of how the world is unfair. They knew that they couldn't go back.
They couldn't go back to how they used to be.
It would be too heartbreaking to even face the reason why they could not be anymore. If they did Rose would break into tears,
And Jay would have a complete mental break down right there infront of her.But one day Rose didn't care, she was sick and tired of balling her eyes out.
She marched down to that school to tell Jay she didn't care what thing he was or what she was, as long as they could be together. As Rose reached the corner where the couple once sat, and laughed and talked, she found that he just wasn't there.
Jay wasn't anywhere in the school, but instead of looking elsewhere,
Rose mournfully decided to sit down in the same place where they had shared all their memories together."I wonder," she whispered miserably, "if we will ever be able.... to make any new memories.... together".
Rose suddenly burst into tears once again at the thought of not seeing him ever again.Just then she saw someone standing infront of her, someone looking at her with tears in their eyes, but not tears of sadness, tears of joy.
And they whispered as soothing as the wind, "it's going to be okay... I promise, it will be okay".It was Jay.
