This is a little challenge I came up myself while writing a little one-shot for fun. I thought I'd bring it over to Wattpad huehuehue
So this challenge's rules are simple!
1) Take your OC (or create one) and write a one-shot featuring your OC and one of the Hoshi Meguri Kanshokusha series characters.
**In case you don't know what it is, it's a little i7 spin-off. It features the i7 characters in pairs that come from different stars (planets).
2) It can be anything - from fluff to a serious story.
3) Tag your friends! You can choose not to, but I like tagging :3
That really is about it. I'm writing about my OC Rei (I gave her the name Yvell for this one-shot) and Iori (Coda in the Hoshi Meguri series). They're both from the star Bestia, where the residents have animal ears :3
Why am I writing about Iori? Because I like the Bestia characters and Coda is precious and must be protected.

Yvell's brown hair twitched slightly - a warning sign that she was going to lose control any minute. Coda, who was seated next to her on the sofa reading a book, noticed immediately and nudged her. "Yvell -"
"I - I know." Yvell's voice trembled with mild concentration. "I'm trying."
Her cheeks gradually turned pink as she tried to get her furry hair under control. Tiny tears squeezed through her eyelids, which were pressed tightly closed. Despite her efforts, her second pair of ears refused to flatten. Her fluffy ears, pointy and shaped like a cat's, popped out of her hair.
Yvell huffed in exasperation and tried to push her stubborn ears back into her hair. "Why does this keep happening!"
"Don't do that, Yvell." Coda plucked her hand away from her ear. "You might hurt yourself."
"How do you even keep your ears down?" Yvell flicked at her ear sulkily. "I can never control mine properly. It's embarrassing."
Coda stared at Yvell for a second, uncertain how to answer to that question.
"Did I say something wrong?" Yvell asked nervously.
Yvell noticed that Coda's face reddened ever so slightly, and he didn't look her in the eye. "Nothing."
"Nothing?" Yvell's grey eyes fixed on him inquisitively. "I know that reaction, Coda. You're hiding something. Something I might find funny." A small smile tugged at Yvell's mouth.
Coda pulled his yellow turban down, trying to shield his face from Yvell's curious gaze. "It's nothing, Yvell. Really."
It was Yvell's cue to shift onto her knees and stare at Coda with a slightly skeptical expression. Eyebrows cinched, mouth in a straight, slightly slanted line and a sulky glint in her eyes. It usually worked on Coda, though followed by a half-hearted contradiction afterwards.
After a slight hesitation, Coda sighed in retaliation and pinched Yvell's cheek, enticing a shriek from her. "You really vex me, Yvell."
Yvell pried Coda's fingers away from her throbbing cheek, a small pout visible on her mouth. "You didn't have to do that, Coda."
"Consider it my compensation for my own embarrassment in a moment or two," Coda sighed. "Fine. I'll show you."
He pulled his turban off, revealing his own second pair of ears. Dark, and striped white at the tips. At first it seemed nothing abnormal to Yvell, who stared at his ears blankly for a few moments. Then a thought crossed her mind, and she began to grin.
"You can't control your ears either?"
Coda flushed, casting his eyes downwards. "I told you it was embarrassing."
"And here I thought you had them perfectly under control." Yvell laughed softly. "So that's why you keep wearing that turban, huh?"
"To protect my dignity, yes. Who would take me seriously if I kept walking around with my ears poking out of my head?" Coda rolled his eyes and lowered his head a little sheepishly.
Yvell couldn't help it - she chuckled and reached up to touch his ears. As her fingertips connected, he flinched a little and looked up. "Y-Yvell?"
"I think it's cute," Yvell said, stroking the fur on his ears tenderly with a slender finger. "I know, it's a little embarrassing, but ... just cute."
"Don't do that."
Yvell ignored his half-hearted complaints and went on petting his ears with her palm. She could've sworn she heard a low purr, and the ears twitched slightly under her touch. She smoothed his ears affectionately. "You like it."
"Yvell." Coda pinched her cheek again, making her yelp and remove her hand instinctively.
"Jeez," Yvell said. "So uptight." She pretended to sulk, but let out a surprised "nyah?!" when Coda himself began to touch her ears. "C-coda?"
A smile broke out on Coda's face. "I think you know quite well what you said earlier about it being embarrassing but cute."
