"Hi, it's Kris here." A girl with black hair and glasses stared at the screen intently.
"I know, this is probably a weird chapter. This doesn't really have anything to do with i7, but it's something important." Kris nodded slowly and sighed.
"I just returned from a trip to Korea. It was fun while it lasted, but I'm back again and I need a lot of time. I missed three days of school, and I really need to catch up on schoolwork. Also, it's Chinese New Year soon so celebrations will be right around the corner. Not to mention the fact that I have a few Smule projects to do, and I really want to keep in touch with my new friends from Korea. Also, I'm hella tired."
Kris steepled her fingers and leaned forward. "So, I'm here to say that I will be going on hiatus."
She stopped for a moment to let the gasps sink in. Before people could start yelling at their screens and typing hate comments, Kris turned up her palms.
"Hold it, hold it, people. Yes, I'm going on a hiatus. I'll stop updating i7 Haven and This Stage is Mine for now to settle back down. I might give you guys an account of my travels in Korea if you want, though it won't be written in this book. I might celebrate Yamato's birthday here if I'm okay by then, but hey - no guarantees. High school is hell."
Grumbles of agreement emanated from the crowd as they recounted their experience of high school.
"But I swear, I won't disappear forever. I'll be back after I've settled down with my life."
Kris paused for a moment to think about her nostalgia for Korea.
"Yeah. That should be about it, folks. Until next time, seeya~"
