💚 kris's return special 💛

Almost unrecognizable, a girl barged in through the door and almost immediately fell on her face.

"Oof! I knew I shouldn't have gone to that stupid meeting ... " Grumbling, she got onto her knees and straightened her glasses, then retrieved her pink hairband (which she uncharacteristically had developed a fondness for during her trip to Korea) and shoved it untidily onto her head.

She stood, cleared her throat and directed her attention to you, suddenly putting on a big smile. "What's up! Kris's finally coming back to you guys!" She did a little thank-the-lord celebration mime, remembered her place.

"Okay, yeah, yeah. I know. You're about to throw out the boos and ask me why I've been gone for more than a damn month. I could tell you, but tht would mean reciting every single task in my planner for the past month or so." Kris scowled at the journal sitting on her desk, which was filled to the brim with reminders for homework and plans.

"But anyway, I think I've more or less adjusted to my new school life!" Kris clapped her hands excitedly, grinning from ear to ear.

Then she stopped and seemed to deflate.

"But I've got some good news and bad news for y'all.

"I've already told y'all the good news. I'm coming back." Kris nodded sagely. "But the bad news is, I haven't exactly been 100% up-to-date on i7 during my hiatus. Plus, I'm fully aware of the fact that I've missed Yamato's and Mitsuki's birthday. "

As the maelstrom of boos and eggs ended, Kris wiped at a yolk on her white hoodie.

"Yeah, I know. My bad. I know Part 4's out too, but I've been doing a little reading. A little."

Before the boos and eggs could start flying all over the place again, Kris seized an umbrella and heroically cowered behind it while yelling, "Hey! I've got something else to say!"

As soon as the audience had settled down, mutters emanating from the crowd, Kris took a deep breath and put it on the floor.

"What I was about to say is that I shall be taking requests! Right, I know I've always had my request section open, but there are two reasons why I'm pushing this out again:

1. Kris wants to write some more stuff about the new i7 updates, but there's too many and she can't think of any.

2. Kris has been gone too long and she wants to make it up to you by doing something you guys might like.

"It can be any request!" Kris declared. "From song reviews to one-shots to episode reactions to drawings, it can be anything as long as it's related to i7! And also, there's another treat that I'd love to give you guys!

"Remember that story I was working on, This Stage is Mine? Well, I happen to need two new friends to join Rei in Kirasaki Productions. I'll give you the details after I'm done with this announcement, and I hope you guys will at least respond!" Kris made a face that was supposed to be a puppy-dog look, but just ended up being plain creepy with her weird eyes goggling out of her head.

"That's all I've gotta say right here!" Kris concluded. "And by the way, thanks so much for all the support, even when I was gone. It was hilarious coming back into Wattpad and receiving a mountain of notifications from my hiatus. It's great to know that you guys enjoy my work!" Kris bowed shamelessly and almost tripped over her shoelaces.

"Welp. I'd best be going now. So until next time! Seeya~"

I don't really want to create any more OCs for that purpose, but since DuO was never actually a proper presence in i7 I decided to let you guys do the planning!
