I looked out at sea looking at noting but the blue and the occasional Flying dolphin fish. "What's on your mind?" I heard behind me, it was Zuko of course.

"nothing, just looking at the ocean, keep's my mind focused," I said, I didn't look away at my fixed gaze. he schooed closer to me our for arm's touching, he playfully hip bumbed me. my gaze turned to him seeing him smile at the vas ocean. "we'll find him," I said and he looked at me, I saw his scar. after 3 year's of being on this ship, I still was so use to seeing him with no scar.

"I know we will, with you by my side I have no dout in my mind," he said I smiled. "how's your arm?" he asked.

"it's fine," I said looking at the bandage, still a little blood seeping through it. "doesn't hurt that much anymore," I said. "why are you out here, just to see me?" I teased.

"you caught me, come on practice you bending, we got you those scroll's for a reason," he said. "I won't attack you, because I don't want to burn you," he said I walked with him to the middle of the ship, no one to bother us or get in the way. I had a small barrel of water with the top opened, the water doesn't move away from me that way. I practiced the basic move's and threw in more advanced some I didn't get right. I bended the water back into the barrel.

"I know, I know, practice the moves," I said in frustration.

"you're getting better," he said.

"ya, but the scroll's can't replace a master, I won't get better if I don't have someone to teach me properly," I said.

"but it's not like we can just have some one to train you when we show up in water tribe water's, demand that you get training, from a master," he said almost joking.

"I know, it just suck's," I said and put the cap on the water barrel. I felt the ship shift violently, and threw me over board. I fell head first in the water, it was cold, as usual. I moved so I was upright, the bottom of the ship almost hit me. I moved out of the way quickly, and surfaced. I saw the ship moving away from me quickly, I was faster with my bending. I was on the ship and fell to the ground.

"Roura?!" I heard Zuko voice, worried.

"here, I'm here," I yelled, I laid on my back soaking wet. I heard foot step's coming my way, I looked to see Zuko, revealed. "What happened?" I asked.

"I'll find out," he said. he reached his hand out to held me up, I accepted. I bended the water out of my clothes and hair and back to the ocean. we walked to the captain's area Zuko angered, "What's the meaning of this, you threw her over board," he said.

"That's the whole point, she doesn't deserve to be her, she's a water bender, She has no place in the fire nation, she nothing but an impostor," he said with anger. Zuko angered went to attack him he had fire dagger's in his hand. I pulled him back, I mouthed 'I got this'.

"you think that you can take me down by throwing me into my element, my advantage?" I asked. "I can make a wave powerful enough to knock this ship over and create a air pocket for the people I care about, leaving you breathless, I can push you down in the water and Zuko wont let anyone get to you and we would be fighting in the water, I have the advantage you don't, so if you think that you can take me down stop this ship and fight me like a man, you greatest accomplishment is that you made it to be a solder, a real solder wouldn't be childish and a coward by thrown a person who you think doesn't deserve to be here, a real solder wouldn't be so coward-est," I spat.

The guy turned around looked at me with anger and attempted to throw a fire blast at me, I doge out of the way and hit his center, his weak spot. He fell out the window on to the bow of the ship, "coward," I said and turned around, the people who were here looked at me with surprise, fear and respect all at once. Zuko looked at me with a surprised look as well, "I told you I got this," I said and he smiled, Iroh how ever looked at me with disappointment.

"you shouldn't have questioned the man like that," he said.

"he was being irrational, I had to do what I did, I'm am not going to be talked down to because I'm different," I stated and walked down to my quarter's. I was left alone, I didn't could that the occasional guard walking down the hall's. I looked at the book I was reading, being on this ship you have to find away to entertain your self, keep your mind busy.

"you got guts I'll give you that," I heard Shio say, I moved my head over to her. She was standing in the door way.

"What else was I suppose to do? I couldn't let Zuko or Iroh defend me, everyone else would think that I would be a 'delicate flower' and all they see me is just a pathetic Waterbender and when Zuko and Iroh are not there to protect me I would be in the ocean," I said. "I know how the fire nation solder's work, if they see weakness they take of that, look what happened to the air bender's, I don't want to end up dead," I said.

"that's not going to happen," I heard Iroh Shio left me and Iroh alone. "I know that you are not defenseless," he said.

"I know you know that, they know that, but there are people like Zalro, who people need to prove there worth to them other wise they are caring dead weight, I know you think that what I did was wrong, but I had to do it," I said. he smiled, then walked away.

The day went on and I had my usual meditation time with Zuko, It help to clear your mind from stress and being out at sea for a long time. I wasn't good at it, just being quiet for so long, what helped me was listing to the sound of the ocean.

"your getting better," I heard Zuko say.

"The ocean helps," I said. I laid down on my back, he look at me.

"That hour isn't up yet," he said.

"feels like it," I said, a thought just occurred to me, "we haven't been able to just hang out, and relax have we?" I asked.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"well, we train some time, we talk to each other when we run into each other on the ship then we go our sepret ways, and we meditate together some time's, we just don't ever relax and hang out," I said. he looked at me, "I don't know, I guess being on this ship for so long feel's weird to me," I said.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"well, it just doesn't feel like home, do you miss the way it use to be?" I asked, "didn't have to worry about hunting someone who probably doesn't exist, hardly being on land, limited contact with other people," I said.

"Where I wasn't marked as the banished prince," he said, I sat up and rubbed my thumb at the bottom of his scar.

"Zuko, I didn't mean that," I said.

"I know you didn't," he said. "some time's I have doubts that he doesn't exist and I'll never come back home," he said.

"that may be true, but have faith he could be in hiding," I said. he smiled, "see that's better then meditation, clearing your mind for an hour a day you still are left to bottle your thoughts up," I said. then I yawned.

"get some rest, we'll be heading to the south pole to look for him," he said. I stood up and walked to my quarter's. I closed the door and changed my clothes for sleeping.
