At the castle Kate saw her mother and ran to hug her "hi sweetie how was school",Karen asked, "good now I'm gonna go do homework and train",Kate said, Karen nodded then she went back to her duties as queen till Simon called her to come in the other room, so she got up and went to another room
In Kate and Dominique's room kate was doing homework when dom came over to her "hey Kate are you done yet",dom asked, "no why what's up",kate asked, "well we never really hang out cause of school and was wondering if we could hang out",Dominique said, "well actually dom after I turn in this homework I'm switching classes and now I have second lunch",kate said, "wow that's great can I see your new schedule",dom asked, Kate nodded then handed it to her "oh ok so I guess I'll see you in science, math, and English then lunch so that's cool",Dominique said, "yeah, well let me finish then will hang",kate said, "ok and Kate why are you still in your uniform",Dominique asked, "cause it's the only dark clothes I have",kate said, "no you have all those clothes you packed",dom said, "no cause someone replaced them with all with ugly bright color clothes",kate said, dom nodded then waited for Kate to get done, after a couple minutes she was done "ok done so what do you want to do",kate asked, "let's just go explore and talk, then do whatever you wanna do",Dominique said, Kate nodded then they went to have some f
While they did that Karen went into the other room and saw Simon in a fancy suit "um Simon what is this and what did you want/need",she asked, "lady Karen drakon I Simon your faithful knight/guard would like to your hand in marriage if you would accept I know we haven't know each other long but I really like you and I see kate like a daughter to me",He said, then she was in shock but then was filled with happiness "oh Simon I accept but I don't know how kate will feel about it, it's been seven years since Chris passed but I'm so excited",She said, then he got up and hugged her "it's ok we could tell her about it together at dinner, or I could tell her, or you could whichever way and when would you like the wedding",He said, "we'll tell her together and anyway is fine, but wouldn't we have to get a new main guard",she said, "yes but will figure it out and what about in thirty days",he said, they she hugged him and kissed his cheek
Kate and Dominique were having so much fun exploring more of the castle while they talked about there lives and how school was going but Kate didn't tell her about what happened with josh but teller her everything else but Kate wondered about Dominique's family if they were worried about her "hey dom aren't your parents worried about you and wondering if your still at the dragon academy",kate asked, but tears started to form in Dominique's eyes "hey it's ok if you don't have to tell me I was just wondering",kate said, "no it's just I don't have a family",dom said, "then how did you get in to school",kate asked, "every year they chose one dragon child that gets in free without a signed letter, so when I got back to my orphan ige from my run I got a letter saying I was invited to join the dragon academy, I'm sorry I didn't tell you before",dom said crying, then Kate hugged Dominique "oh dom I'm so sorry please stop crying what if my adopted you then we could be sisters forever",kate said, "oh kate that would be great but I don't think your mom would do that",dom said, "of corse she would, why don't we ask her at dinner ok just stop crying and let's go hang till dinner",kate said, dom nodded then they went to play and hang out till her mom called for dinner
Later that night at dinner everyone ate dinner, then they cleared the table to talk "I have to tell you something",Karen and Kate said, "haha you go first sweetie",Karen said, "ok can you adopt dom cause she has no family and we're like sisters",kate said, "what are you sure",Karen asked, "yes ma'am I have no family besides Kate whose like a sis",Dominique said, "ok I'll do it online now can I tell you my news sweetie",Karen asked, Kate nodded then Simon came in "ok kate me and Simon are getting married",Karen said, but then Kate got up and ran to the bathroom while Dominique ran after her but Kate locked the door "oh come on kate it isn't that bad, it's sweet that your mom is getting married, dom said, "no it's not fine if she gets married then it's like replacing papa and I don't want anyone replacing my papa",kate said, "yeah but he's nice, sweet, funny, and friendly just come out",dom said, "just leave me alone to think and cry please",kate said, then Dominique left her, but then Kate grabbed the sharp thing she had last time and started to put some more cuts on herself, then cried a little bit more
In the dinning hall Karen and Simon were there in shock of what just happened then Karen started to cry "sweetie are you ok",Simon asked, "no I can't believe she just did that, she still loves chris but she needs to accept who I marry",she said, "I know sweetie but how do think youor I should handle this situation",he said, "after she gets done in there you two can have some father daughter fun",she said, "that's great idea",he said kissing her cheek
Kate was still in the bathroom crying till something popped into her mind "Hello is this kate drakon",the voice said, "yeah who is this is it crystal",Kate asked, "no she was destroyed by the spell I am snow a white dragon with black scales",snow said, "oh ok well does that mean my mom has a new one to",kate asked, "yes she has pearl and we are going to be friends",snow said, Kate nodded then someone knocked on the door, "kate can I come in, I just wanna talk",Simon said, then she unlocked the door and peaked out "what do you want",she asked, "I just wanna talk ok please",he said, then she let him in "ok what you want I don't want to talk to you",she said, "listen I'm sorry but your mom and I like each other a lot so we're getting married, I'm not trying to replace your father he'll always be in your heart, but I was wondering if you wanted to go to the mall to get some new clothes or get anything for you",he said, "why would I do that",she asked, "si we could bond and get to know each other",he said, "no thanks",she said, "let me rephrase that go to the mall with me or I'll tell your mother about your cuts you've been giving yourself",he said, "(gasp) you wouldn't dare, fine now leave me to be sad",she said, but then he grabbed her and pulled her out of the bathroom and put her in her bed, "now sleep and will go to the mall tomorrow",he said, she cried and went to sleep but already did not want Simon as her new dad
