On the road kate met other runaway kids like her but she didn't want to live with them cause she wanted to live on her own but she did learn from them
After three years of running kate was finally an adult she was 19 years old and could make her own decisions and choices so she found a small town far away from her family which she missed dearly but the only things in her heart were sadness and depression, so she got a job in the small town and started to work, she got payed so after a while she bought a small house and worked also, it was so sad but kate had no love that was lost a long time ago, although Kate was sad she had a little happiness since she able to do what she wanted not what her dad wanted her to do
After Derek came back empty handed Chris started to look for kate, well after Cole cheered up, so he looked, looked, and looked for one year but then gave up cause he knew he couldn't find his princess, he continued his life with his son even though his heart was not whole it was missing half, but he hid that sadness from Derek so they could be happy, even though Derek could see it he wanted to cry with his father but had to be strong, they had to be strong together as a family well for Kate's sake, and hoped that their little girl would come back one day
A couple days after kate moved into her house she was walking home but when she walked inside some men held her up against a wall in her house "who are you and what do you want",Kate asked, "are you the dragon princess",they asked, "I'm not that anymore, the princess is Dominique black",Kate said, "no the real one that was born is who we want",they said, "well I'm sorry she hasn't been in this world since five years ago",kate said, "stop playing games with us littlw girl or would you like your family dead now",they said, "haha I don't have any family and I'm not little",Kate laughed evilly, "what kind of games are playing little girl, just tell us and you or anyone will get hurt",they said one of them holding up a knife, "haha you fools I fear no one and nothing hurts me,so go ahead hurt me or whoever you want but you won't get anything out of me",kate said, "ok then will just hurt these little new born dragon children",they said holding the knife up to their necks, "no don't hurt them please I'll tell you where to find her or what you need to know just don't hurt them",Kate said, then one of they stayed by the kids with the knife while the others looked at kate "ok now are you the real born dragon princess not the adopted one",they asked, then Kate breathed in and out "yes I am kate drakon Air to the dragon throne but I gave that up a long time ago, I detached from my dragon and am now just kate drakon",kate said, "haha so we finally found you, quick grab her",they said, but Kate fought "no will take me I'm a strong independent girl and If your trying to get me you can try but I won't back down",Kate said angrily fighting, "now calm down my dear soon you'll be in your new home",the main man said, "where's that the ugly dragon kingdom, oh no wait I'm never going back to that dark place again, so forget about trying to take me but I won't stop fighting!",kate yelled fighting the men, "haha your a feisty one master will love that",the main man said, then they grabbed hold off her while she was still fighting, while they tapped her mouth shut then flew off to meet their boss
After a very long ride and Kate still kicking and screaming to get free they arrived in the dragon kingdom, they brought her inside while she kicked and tried to break free and brought her to their boss "careful sir she's a wild one",they said, then he took hold of Kate while she kept fighting and got out of his hands, but then he grabbed her again and took her to another room
In another room he took the tape off her mouth and chained her while she fought "let me go now!!",kate yelled, "no now calm down or do I need to hurt you",he said, "go ahead and hurt me I won't stop till I get out, what do you freaks want with me",kate said, then he punched her but didn't cry, "aren't you gonna cry little girl and there's a boy that wants you and he gets what he wants",he said, "awe did a spoil brat never learn no as an answer",she said, then he punched kate again, "don't you insult my little prince princess",he said, "I'm not a princess anymore I told your guys I am the real born one, but Dominique black is the princess here in dragon kingdom, I never wanted to a princess",she said, "well to bad you'll be the perfect wife for him",he said, "no I'm not ready and o don't love in my life",she said, then he hit her, "to bad you'll be his gift tonight",he said, then left thevery sad but not crying kate alone to think about what would come next
While that happened Dominic heard a girls screams, kicks and punching, and trying to get out, so he went down and watched from a far and saw a beautiful girl being dragged to the dungeons by his father, so he followed him and watched how he hurt her but didn't cry, now she was strong and beautiful so he waited till his father left and went to her and looked at her beauty
After he left kate she just sat there in sadness, silence, and darkness three things she liked and was use to, well till a boy about her age with spiked fawn hair unlike that man from before with Black shopped hair, the boy had a nice smile perfect round blue eyes like the ocean, light skin with scraps and scars all over his body, was wearing a white shirt with blood stains on it with a black leather jacket, ripped blue jeans with black sneakers, he lowered himself to her, while she looked at him like he was her light in the darkness, but she couldn't have love she gave that up four years ago, she's a tough and fearless girl now with walls built up around her brain "so you must be the spoiled prince I've heard so much of since I've got here",kate said with a smirk, "haha I see you've been near my father little girl, he's a very crazy man so what's your your name girly",he asked, "what are you not a spoiled boy then what's your life like and tell me yours first boyo, "haha it's Dominic and unlike what my stupid dad told you I'm a boy who lives his life wildly I don't do anything my father says and am unperfect unlike what my dad says, so don't listen to that crazy man",he said, "ok well my names kate and a sad lonely girl but I love that, but Dominic could you set me free from here",she said, "why do you owe my father something",he said, "no he wants to marry me to you but I don't want love and am to young I'm only 19 I don't need marriage now",she said, "what the, well fuck then let's get you out off here before he tries to do that, but Kate are you a dragon",he asked, "I use to be till I detached from her cause I didn't deserve a dragons love",she said, then he thought this girl was amazing "ok I'll take you home kate",he asked, that made her heart pump more but she told herself no but her heart said yes "fine just set me free please",she said, he nodded then Kate got out of the chains, then Dominic turned into his light brown dragon, while Kate got on him and told him the instructions to follow to her house while his heart was pumping very fast cause of kate for some reason
After the very long flight to Kate's house they finally dropped down and transformed back into himself "thanks Dominic for the ride home but what if your father comes for me",she asked, "don't worry I'll try to reason with him and if he doesn't listen then I'll hurt him don't worry kate I'll protect you",he said, "I don't need protection I'm a strong girl and arcana defend myself Dominic",she said, "I know but that's if he gets here you hurt him but only if he passes me at our home ok",he said, "ok well thank you again Dominic can we exchange numbers and keep in contact so you can let me know if he's coming",she said, then both their hearts beater really fast when she said that, then they wrote down their numbers and gave them to each other slowly their friendship was slowly coming together, but then he left which made kate very sad not sad like her life always this was new sad that she never wanted to feel for a long time
