Gyro really didn't think he was going to leave this place. Everytime he thought it was all over, someone else decided to ship him with someone.
But, he had to admit, shipping him with his boss made sense. Scrooge seemed to be the only one trying to help him with his social interaction.
And keep him from killing his board of directors.
Gyro shifted in his seat next to Scrooge and oh so subtly scooted closer to them. Scrooge looks up at his lead scientist over his spectacles and moved to where he was slightly leaning on the tall chicken.
They stayed like that for the rest of the day, Scrooge reading a romance novel, and Gyro jotting down invention ideas on his notepad.
It was bliss.
Meanwhile, the kids were back in Max's room lazing about. They were trying to not think about the elephant in the room, but it had to be talked about.
Louie was the first to speak. "We all ship it, right?"
"Yep." Huey replied, followed by similar replies from the rest of the kids.
"Cool."
