"this may seem fast..but I love you enough to ask you this.."

we finally got to the destination, an old abandoned building from the 1800's that was taken over by a couple and turned it into a restaurant. Garrett grabbed my hand after he parked the car, and we got our seats, on the roof.

"I thought you would like this, I reserved the roof for only us tonight, and I ordered our food already" I smiled and hugged him, kissing his cheek.  

"I love this, but you didn't have to...what's the special occasion for love?" I asked him as we sat down. 

"Let's eat first, then we can talk about that..." He smiled

So we did, we ate well, and so good that my stomach felt so full I could have thrown up. i was so full. Garrett seemed like he was nervous, his face was turning a light red color. 

as we were getting our to-go cups, Garrett got up, and I thought he was going to make a scene about how long it took to get them, but instead he got on one knee, and my heart stopped

he looked so adorable when he did this, he was so tall, and it  made me smile.

"this may seem fast..but I love you enough to ask you this...

"and I know that we've only really been dating for like a year maybe but Astrid, will you marry me?"

I sat there in shock for a moment while he got something out of his pocket, a ring. it was beautiful, I loved it. 

"yes! Garrett! oh my gosh!" as he was standing up, I ran into his arms, my heart beating fast and my head fogged, I just felt so loved.

he kissed me and spun me, and our waiter did a little awkward clap, and left the roof. 

we headed back to the car, when Garrett cornered me and kissed me hard, and I blushed as I kissed back.

"just felt like kissing you, my fiancé.." he giggled as he opened my door, I sat in the car seat and looked at the ring he gave me, and blushed harshly when I realized how expensive it must have been.

i smiled at Garrett as he got into the car, i grabbed his hand, and we headed on home.
