"Hello." I muttered as we sway to the rhythm of the beat of a song I am yet to recognize.

"You look stunning." He commented and I honestly was going to be flattered if it weren't for the hundred people that said the same thing this evening.

"Thanks." I mumbled.

"I'm Harry." He said after a few seconds of silence. "Harry Styles, CEO of Styles Co. in Seattle."

I nodded, not really interested in what he's saying. He said it in a way that makes him a haughty dick like the things he just said will earn my attention. "Not impressed."

"Ah, why not? I am one of the most eligible bachelors of America and you are definitely the most eligible bachelorette of New York City, a date would be nice." He said having no refinement at all.

"There it is Mr. Styles. You are ONE of the most eligible bachelors, meaning there's more. I am fine without a date, no matter how nice it would be." Something about this guy made my head pound and I almost pity him because of his beautiful face but his personality says otherwise.

"Very clever Ms. Morgensen. But what would I have to do to get one? Shall I schedule an appointment?" The way he said the words made me like a snob, it took every ounce of patience I had in me to not slap him.

"I believe my schedule is a bit full Mr. Styles." I muttered as we swayed. I prayed for the three minutes to be up but of course, time was not on my side.

"I will wait for you." I almost laughed at his attempt of flirting. "That's what most girls want to hear, don't they?"

"As you can tell, I am not most girls." I huffed, my sapphire eyes narrowing at his emerald ones. "Please stop flirting with me Mr. Styles. Go fetch one of the leggy blondes."

"Ah, who says I'm flirting with you? Maybe I'm just sparking up a discussion or just teasing with you or maybe, trying to be on your good side." Egotistical dick. "And please, call me Harry."

"We are absolutely not on first name basis." I rolled my eyes. "I know what your kind is like."

"What do you mean?"

"A loaded CEO flaunting his label because he believes he could get any girl he like but then he comes across one who minimally doesn't care and now he thinks it's a challenge and will soon be constant on calling her and showing up in places he isn't wanted. Then he'll take her out on a date, but it goes wrong, then another one, and maybe, maybe she'll apprehend that he isn't bad after all. And after she confesses that he likes him, they shag and then he leaves her for the reason that he isn't challenged to anymore, am I correct?" I rambled.

"I think you watch far too much reality shows Ms. Morgensen." I hate how good my name rolls of his tongue, oh and the accent, did I mention that he is British? "Just one date."

"No." Then suddenly, my prayers are answered when the music stopped. Finally. We bowed down to each other but he grabbed my wrists as he whispered one last time in my ear.

"I will have you Ms. Morgensen. No matter how long. I will destroy those walls of yours."

"Never in your wildest dreams Styles." And it scared me. Not because I think he's a psychotic man but it's the fact that the last thing I ever said to him could be a lie. I wasn't going to lie, he didn't scare me physically but emotionally and I was determined to fight off anything and will start building up my walls.

"I saw you." Louis muttered as he came up beside me at the bar. "With Harry, I mean."

"What's up with British guys invading my life?" I tried to joke to cover up the anxiousness that Harry brought me.
