"I'm sorry. You don't have to forgive me." Harry said as I didn't say a word for a long time. "I just had to get it out there."

I still didn't say a word as I plop back down in the plush grass and stared at the pond. I heard him let out a nervous sigh as he took a seat next to me, still keeping a reasonable distance.

Somehow over the last 5 minutes, the moon decided to show as it shined down to us, it's reflection on the pond was beautiful and I didn't have the energy nor the nerve to let my eyes off of it since it was a rarity in New York City.

"You know how I am when it comes to trusting." I said quietly, still staring at the pond. "Seeing you with her, not knowing what was happening, not knowing where I stand, where we stand, whether you still wanted me or not anymore, since I wasn't a challenge anymore."

"Louise, no. it's not like that, please-." He started but was cut off by me letting out a huge sigh.

"One last chance Harry, when you fuck this up and pull a shit like this again, I swear to God." I shook my head and was about to continue speaking when Harry's lips were on mine.

I kissed him back slowly but realized we were in public and anyone could've taken a picture of us. I pulled away quickly, meeting his confused eyes.

"Um..." I cleared my throat as I looked around us. He realized what I was doing and let out a soft "oh" as he frowned and looked down.

"Hey, hey." I said as I tilted his chin up to meet his eyes. "I'm not ashamed of you or anything. Please don't think that. It's just when we start to go public, everyone will know about it, comment about it, and make something that will destroy us."

"Everything in our lives is public. They know almost everything; we share almost ninety percent of our lives with them. We're some kind of celebrity now whether we like it or not, being a celebrity means you have little to no privacy at all. Now 10 percent sounds little but that 10 percent is the most important part of my life, I want you to be in that ten percent. I want you all to myself, I don't want to share you with the world and I sound so selfish right now." I chuckled lowly.

"I understand you, Louise."

"Um, I'm going to go inside to say hi to my dad and the rest of my family, I haven't seen them yet." I mumbled quietly, not wanting to upset him any further because he might think I'm abandoning him.

"Oh, your father was giving his speech before I followed you." He stated. "Meet me here in about an hour. I'm going to take you somewhere."

"Where?"

"It's a secret. Consider this our first date." He smiled shyly.

"Okay." I smiled, trying to hide my excitement and my nervousness about the fact that we were having our first date later.

"Wait. Before you go..." He paused for a minute, scoping his surroundings before placing a quick but special kiss on my lips. "I'll see you later, love."

Somehow, I made it inside without tripping since I wasn't concentrating on anything but the fact that I was going on a date with a guy I actually like. I weaved through the crowd, trying my best to cut short any conversations that people were trying to open up at me.

Finally, I found my father with Jay , standing near the band with some old man.

"Daddy, I have been looking all over for you." I said, trying to catch my breath before placing a kiss on his cheek.

"Louise, my sweetheart, you look so beautiful." He kissed my forehead.

"Hello Jay or should I call you mom, now?" I joked and my dad and Jay shot each other an amusing smile on how carefree and happy I was being, I guess they were used to the grumpy, short-sentenced Louise.
