"No fair!" Louis protested as his ball went in the gutter. I was leaning back in one of the seats, casually sipping on the cheap beer that tastes surprisingly okay. I didn't have to play the game but I was more than okay with it.
It was more fun watching the boys, especially Louis throw a tantrum at how their team was losing.
Occasionally, Harry would throw a wink before rolling the ball, which made me blush for a reason. The reason being, maybe I was starting to like him, more than friends.
"Louis, accept the defeat! We've been playing for three hours!" Harry complained while rubbing his feet.
"Yeah, we're hungry and Venus looks bored." Niall stated looking at me and I raised my fifth beer in agreement.
"I'm not bored but I'm very hungry." I said with a smile that caused Louis to pout and throw his bowling ball in the lane angrily but he earned a strike.
"Did you see that? Fuck yes!" He started dancing while we all let out little laughs. "Bloody hell, if I had knew I could've played it like that all night! One more game?"
"Louis!" He looks startled as we all yelled his name in unison. It was half past nine and we were all starving, maybe except Louis or he was just too engrossed in the game to notice.
"Fine, fine, let's go." He pouted as he unlaced his bowling shoes. "But I'm not paying for dinner."
"We had a deal!" Harry countered as we gave our shoes to Angela.
"I would pay but you guys kind of didn't let me get my wallet." I stated as I handed mine to Angela.
"Nope, no one is paying but Louis and Niall." Liam chuckled before waving our goodbyes to all the staff.
Once we exited the main doors of the building, cameras and microphones were shoved in our faces and I had to take a step back in order to not be devoured in the sea of paparazzi. The boys immediately made a barricade out of their bodies for me and shielded me from the paparazzi and fans.
Louis being the loud one he is, shouted at them to make way for us while Harry and Niall were at either sides of me as they walk sideward, their bodies protecting me from the crowd and Liam stayed behind me, his body also shielding me from behind.
I couldn't help but admire them as they kept still and protected me. They seemed like the brothers I have never had, maybe except for Harry.
Louis opened the door for me and I clambered in as quickly as I could to avoid being consumed by the crowd who was following us. Harry immediately climbed into the driver's seat while the boys took the backseat.
"Bloody hell." Liam muttered as Harry tried to honk at them but no one was really moving. The two security guards who were with us tried so hard to shoo them away from the car but it wasn't working.
I could faintly hear what they were saying. Things like "I love you Louis/Louise/Niall/Harry/Liam", "Louis, what are your upcoming projects?", "Is Stygensen real?", "Niall when are you going to release your next album?", "Liam what is your company's next gadget?" And many more things, I almost laughed at the Stygensen one.
Finally, the crowd submerged and I let out a sigh of relief, as well as the boys.
"So..." Louis said while dragging the o. "Stygensen huh?"
"Shut up." I mumbled while the boys stifled a laugh. I was still short tempered but I've gotten used to the boys nagging by now but they sure as hell can push my buttons.
