"Where are you? Are you in there? You'll be here soon, won't you? You're making your mum a cranky lady. We all want to see you. Can't you just come out already? It's only three weeks early! You're stubborn just like your mum, aren't you?" Harry smiled, talking to my stomach. "Uncle Louis wants to see his niece!" Lou yelled across the hall. Our hotel rooms were open, Harry, Niall and I were in one room with Zayn, Louis and Liam in the other, like usual, though last night Lou had snuck in bed on the other side of Harry, causing me to fall off of the bed around three in the morning. I just moved into Niall's bed. He wouldn't mind. I never fell back asleep and ended up going on Twitcam with fans and eventually going on SixBillionSecrets.com, reading the secrets of thousands of people in the world, my heart ached reading the stories. I wished I could help every one of them. This had become my nightly routine, waking up in the middle of the night if I slept at all. I was too uncomfortable and frankly, quite miserable. "She kicked, she heard me! COME OUT PRINCESS!" Harry yelled, standing up and jumping around. "Haz, don't rush it!" I scolded him, laying my hands on my stomach. "I want to hold her though!" he whined, crossed his arms and pouted. "I do too, but we want to make sure SHE'S ready! She isn't, obviously!" I giggled, and he stomped out to go find Liam. "Daddy Direction, tell the baby to come out. You're the boss!" Harry explained, motioning with his hands like I often did. He was starting to be like me, oh boy. "I think you deserve the title of Daddy Direction mate, you are the first father!" he chuckled, and walked back to his room. "I'm SO hungry!" I whined, glaring at Niall who was digging through the mini fridge, eating chicken from a local diner that we'd gone to for lunch. He turned around, mouth full and pulled the take-out boxes out and sat on the bed with me so we could share. "Yay!" I smiled, plucking a morsel of meat from the white Styrofoam container and gobbling it up. "Daddy Direction... Daddy... Dad..." Harry was practicing, pacing back and forth. "Haz, what are you doing?" I mumbled through a mouth full of chicken dipped in bleu cheese dressing. "Do you think I'll be a good dad? Be honest with me..." he sighed, slouching down and plopping himself on the bed with Niall and I. "Of course I do, you'll be a great dad" I said, tousling his hair and trying to comfort him. I'd had a similar mindset, that I wouldn't be a good mother, but I'd try my hardest and give my daughter all the love and care I could offer and hope that it would be enough. I'd have three months after her birth and then I'd be in the studios recording, I'd talked to Simon yesterday who told me that I'd been putting it off and my own management wanted me recording and on tour ASAP. I'd almost forgotten that I'd won the X-Factor back in December. It had been a wild ride since then, so much had happened. The pregnancy delayed everything, and I was literally having major anxiety about finally getting to the studio. Singing in the shower and opening for the boys just wasn't enough, I wanted more, and soon I'd get it.

"Cause if one day you wake up and find that you're missing me, and your heart starts to wonder where on this earth I could be, thinking maybe you'll come back here to the place that we'd meet and you'll see me waiting for you on the corner of the street, so I'm not moving, I'm not moving!" Niall sang as we sat backstage waiting for the boys' to go on. I wasn't opening, management didn't want me going into early labor on stage - that was a big no-no - so instead, The Script and The Fray both volunteered to do it for these final few performances, and since both were two of my favorite bands, I sang along too. "You have a lovely voice, may I have your autograph?!" a sweet little blonde girl toddled up to me. "Of course sweetie!" I smiled at her as she held out a little notepad for me. "And who's this?" I asked her as her mother walked up behind her, panting. "This is Kaysie." She panted, wiping sweat from her brow. "Are you her mum?" I asked, smiling at the woman who looked to be probably just a few years older looming over me as I was sitting. "Yeah, her cousin is floating around somewhere. She went crazy trying to win tickets; I didn't hear the end of it until she finally did! Meeting these boys' costs a fortune!" she sighed. "I know... I wish all of the fans could meet them! There's just so many. I was a fan once, now I'm a fiancé!" I giggled, and she looked in awe. "How old are you?" she asked. "Twenty. I met the boys when I was sixteen. Louis is my brother, Harry is my fiancé. I'll be having his daughter in three weeks." I smiled down at my stomach. "Wow. I wish my guy had stayed with me. I was eighteen when I got pregnant for Kay, the father was gone long before I had her..." she flinched, running her fingers through her little girl's curls. "How old is she now?" I asked, curious. "Four. She's so smart though, smartest at her pre-school. I'm twenty-two." She gave a half smile at me, and the cousin ran over to grab me up into a hug. "OH MY GOSH YOU'RE MIKAELA YOU'RE MARRYING HARRY OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH!" she was shrieking. "Hi hun, how old are you?" I asked. "Sixteen!" she smiled, still clutching me. "So how is it, being a mum?" I asked the mother standing in front of me, the cousin irrelevant for just a moment. "Amazing, you're going to love it." She gave me a smile and took little Kaysie's hand and walked away, the cousin following behind because the concert was about to begin. Harry walked over to me all ready to go on, wrapped me up in a hug and gave me a quick peck on the lips and an "I love you beautiful!" before heading on stage with the lads. Three concerts remained before the tour was over. I watched from the side as the boys' did what they did best: fulfilled their dreams. Soon mine would all be fulfilled too.
