Chapter 2: Announcing CBB News to Friends & Family

On Sunday night, you spent the night with James. Mica wasn't sick anymore, so her and Kendall came over for game night. You and James were in the kitchen putting the final touches on dinner (homemade pizza, green beans, peaches, and wine) when there was a knock on the door. James yelled "It's open!" and Kendall and Mica came walking in the front door. Hello's were exchanged and you and Mica headed into the bedroom to get the board games and Kendall and James set the table. While in the bedroom, Mica asked "So, have you and James talked about moving in together" and you said "Yeah, when we first started dating. We didn't think we were ready, so we didn't. I lived with Kendall at the time. I think that's why we drifted apart... I think if we would've gone ahead and moved in together, we wouldn't have broken up" "I think you guys are ready now. You spend the night with each other all the time anyway. I don't think you guys ever spend a night apart"

****JAMES' POV****

As James is setting the table, Kendall asks "So when are you two moving in together?" "I don't know, man. I love her and I want to ask her, I just haven't found the right time" "I think you should ask her soon. I mean, you're with each other every night. Don't you have a toothbrush and extra clothes at her apartment?" "Yeah, I do. But I want to ask her something else before I ask her to move in" "Really? What?" "I wanna ask her to marry me". Kendall froze when I said that. Maybe telling my girlfriend's brother that I wanna marry her wasn't a good idea. "You wanna ask my sister to marry you? Do you have a ring? When are you gonna ask? This is great! Congrats man" and then hugged him. James replies with "Yeah, I do. She's the one. I wanna build a family with her, man" "Okay okay, no more on the subject. You said build a family and we all know what you two need to do to do that and I don't wanna talk about my baby sister doing... THAT" they both laughed as the girls came walking back into the dining room

****BACK TO YOUR POV****

"So, what are you guys talking about?" and they both replied with "nothing". Seems a little weird, but whatever. "Let's eat" you said and all four of you sat down at the table and started eating. When James got up to get dessert (apple pie and ice cream), he said "So, I've got some news for you guys" and Kendall and Mica looked a little worried. "Don't worry, Caitlan's not pregnant" and everyone laughed. "I'm gonna be on the first season of Celebrity Big Brother!" and Kendall and Mica started congratulating James and asking questions like when do you leave and how long will you be gone and when are you telling the fans. James said "I leave in February. Depending on how long I'm gonna be on the show, I won't be home for Valentine's Day, so I will be giving Caitlan her Valentine's Day present before I leave. The official announcement goes out tomorrow morning! I've already called my parents and my sister" and everyone talked about Big Brother for the rest of dinner.

After dinner was over, everyone played Twister, Charades, Dominoes, and whatever else they could find. James had gone to the store that morning and found a bunch of games to choose from. After everyone was tired of playing games, Kendall and James decided to go in the guest room and go over finishing touches for James' new single.

You were in the kitchen with Mica doing dishes when she asked how you felt about James going away for so long. "I think I'll be fine. I talked to his sister and I'm gonna go down there for the first week he's gone and her and James' niece are gonna come back to LA with me and stay at my apartment until he gets evicted or wins. I'm gonna miss him like crazy, but he needs to go. He'll love it" "Yeah, well, I think you guys are gonna miss each other more than you think. He's gonna do amazing on the show!" "I know! He's smart. Athletic. He could possibly win the whole thing!". As the two of you were talking about CBB, James and Kendall came back into the kitchen and said the single was officially done and just needed a release date.

Mica and Kendall left and you and James had just decided to watch a movie. You sat down on the couch and got the pillows situated and James said he'd go get the popcorn. When he came back, he sat down and the two of you cuddled up to watch the movie. You looked at him and smiled and he kissed you long and sweetly and you laid your head on his chest and he pressed play. You couldn't believe how lucky you were. You had a loving family and a boyfriend who made you feel like a queen. You couldn't be happier.

          The next day, CBS announced its cast for Celebrity Big Brother and James posted to his social media accounts letting his fans know what was going on. He was excited and you couldn't be more happier for him
