"Aria, please don't cry. I just don't understand. Maybe it's not what you think it is?"
"It is exactly what I am thinking. He told me they broke the fuck up! And today, at the Gradu-fuck-ation Party he was stuck to her like some bloody glue!"
Sasha was exasperated. Her roommate needed to stop believing douchebag Aiden. In addition, the constant abuses which Aria yelled loudly were giving her a headache.
"This needs to stop. You don't need Aiden! There are plenty of guys out there, Aria." Sasha tried to reason.
"Yeah really? And where are they? You know how many guys I see outside our door waiting for me? Nil, nada, zilch and in case you still can't see the number is a goddamn zero!"
Sasha tried to interrupt but Aria wasn't in the mood to stop ranting anytime soon.
"Maybe something's wrong with me? Because no one fucking lasts. Like according to everyone Aiden is the nicest senior we have and even he's breaking my heart. Ugh! Like he could have just told me he's again dating that bitch of his ex and instead he still had the audacity today to text and ask me which haircut he should get and which tie he should wear. Like I don't get it, I really don't."
"There's nothing to understand, he's a two-timing bastard. Nothing else."
The words hit Aria like a cold slap.
"If he's the two timing bastard then do you know what it makes me? The other woman. I am the side hoe, the home breaker."
Sasha sat on the dormitory bed next to her and hugged her tight.
"Stop being so hard on yourself. Also, I don't know if you've noticed but in every movie, the side hoe is ALWAYS hotter than the main chick. So that's not so bad."
Aria left out a small chuckle.
"You're right, I guess."
"Actually, I know just the thing that can make you feel good and give you the necessary ego boost."
"And what's that?"
Sasha took Aria's phone and started downloading the app. Exactly 6.96969 seconds later, Aria saw the red fire icon emerge on her phone. Annoyed, she buried her face in her palms.
"Dude, Sasha that's so unnecessary. I don't think this stupid app will help me."
"Miss optimist, don't give up even before you've seen the guys. At least give it a try", she winked.
