Chapter 7

The next morning, I smelled bacon and ran down the stairs as fast I could.

If you have bacon, I'll be there.

"I smelled bacon!" I yelled as I ran into the kitchen.

Sammy was cooking bacon.

He laughed.

"Yeah, here take one" he said handing me one.

"Thanks" I said I took a bite of it.

"Hayes, nice girlfriend you got here. Bacon lovers are the best" Sammy said.

Hayes smiled and winked at me.

We all ate eggs and bacon at the table.

Madison say next to me at the table.

"You guys totally missed our bad ass night" Matt said

"What are you guys talking about?" Nash said

Everyone looked confused as me, Shawn, and Matt glared at each other.

"We... May or May not have went back to LA while everyone was sleeping" Shawn mumbled.

"And I may or may not have gave a guy a quarter for weed.."

Everyone laughed.

Sam was brushing his hand through his hair and looking at his reflection through his phone.

"Whatcha doing there Sam" I laughed.

"I need to re- dye my hair. The purple is fading. Anyone wanna come with me?"

No one said anything.

"I'll go" I said.

Me and Sam got ready in only a couple minutes.

I didn't have to dress fancy for dyeing hair so I just wore white shorts and a black tee shirt.

On the way there we had some side conversations.

"So do you wanna do anything with you hair? Like dye it or something?"

Huh, I never really thought about dyeing my hair.

I'm use to my natural brown hair but maybe a change would be good.

"Should I?" I question.

"Only if you want to"

"Okay, what color?" I asked.

"You'd look good blonde" he said.

Blonde?

"Really?"

"Yeah" he said.

When we got there, I was starting to feel nervous about my hair.

Once they put the dye and foil on my hair I know there was no going back.

Sam looked at me and laughed at my nervousness.

I stuck my tongue out at him and rolled my eyes.

Sam was finished before me cause he doesn't have as much hair as me.

I finished like 15 minutes after Sam.

They blow dried my hair before letting me look in the mirror.

I looked in the mirror and looked at my hair for a while.

Hey, this isn't as bad as I thought id be.

"Dude you look great. It's about time your hair matches your personality"

I hit Sam's shoulder.

We were driving back to the house and all I could think about is what the others would think.

When we got to the house, everyone was on the couch watching tv or on there phones.

Hayes was on his phone.

"Hey babe h-" he stopped talking when he looked up and saw me.

Everyone looked at Hayes then at me.

It was quiet then all a sudden Taylor Whistled

Everyone laughed.

"Babe, you look great" Hayes said getting up.

"Damn jaz you should of dyed your hair a long time ago" Matt said.

"Guys it's just a hair color" I laughed.

Madison looked kind of annoyed but when our eyes met she smiled.

Fake

I know it was fake because I've seen it so many times before.

Maybe it's just nothing...
