"Quinn, your grades are just unacceptable. You're going into 7th grade." my dad and mom were both looking at me, but frowning. I had a messy ponytail and just got back from a fantastic lesson on Rusty. My mom sighed, "We need to see your grades come back up until anything horse related happens." I felt tears stream down my eyes as I nodded. "Go get showered. Dinner will be ready soon." my dad said. I jumped up from the couch and rushed upstairs. I burst into my cozy room and started bawling my eyes out on my bed. I picked up a tissue and sighed. "Better get your ass moving," I whispered shakily to myself. "it's now or never."

--FLASH FORWARD 1 MONTH--

"Mom! Please! I have money saved up and haven't ridden in a month! Please!?" my mom had her arms crossed, and she released them to throw her hands up in the air. "Fine, You call and make the appointment, the tell me when."

I rushed out of the house, dressed in my navy DDA shirt and (new) maroon breeches. My mom drove me to the barn. "Remember, grades!" I nodded and quickly rushed out of the car. "Yeah, grades, kay, bye!" I slammed the car door and rushed up to the office, handing them my cash. The lady at the front desk smiled. "Glad you're back, Quinn." I grinned. "So am I."

I hopped on Rusty after quickly grooming and tacking him up. I started walking him to the outdoor arena.

((A/N - I don't have much time to type about her lesson, so I just skipped over her lesson :( sorry guys))

The lesson today was a bit lazy, and Sera wasn't at the lesson. I got to spend extra tim with Rusty. I lead him out of the crossties, and started to lead him to the small round pen we used for lunging or turning out sometimes. Cora popped out of nowhere and started walking with me. "So, I heard your grades are up." I half smiled. "Yep." she looked at me as she was walking. "You know about the boarding school we have here?" I halted Rusty and let him get a quick snack of grass, as I looked up to Cora. "Ya," I said slowly, holding the 'a' out in the air. "Well, some of the trainers came to watch you ride, and they spoke to the administor." I was confused. "About what?" Cora beamed with pride. "About you joining their boarding school!" Cora half yelled - half whispered. My heart stopped. "Holy shi-" I hugged Rusty. He got me here.

I put Rusty back in his cozy stall and got his dark blue blanket on. I kissed him goodnight. "Thank you Russ." He looked up at me, with his big eyes, as he was munching on his hay. "Night." I kissed and hugged him once more, and left his stall. "There you are!" Cora jumped out of nowhere - again. "OMG." I put my hand on my heart. "You almost scared me to death," I looked at her wide eyed. "and here I am?" I said confused. "I need to talk to you. About the boarding school." I smiled. I just got accepted to my barn's boarding school. Boarding. School. I kepy replaying the moment in my mind. "Yeah, what about?" I beamed at Cora. "Well, first of all, this was all planed out with your parents, so don't bother talking to them." I nodded. "And second of all," Her face was filled with worry. "You can't bring Rusty." my smile vanished and my mind went blank. "Wai- wait... What?" Cora bit her lip and hugged me. "I'm so incredibly sorry honey. There is a good part to it, though." she put her hands on my shoulder and looked at me. "What is it?" I mumbled. She grinned. "You'll see tomorrow. For now, classes start in 4 weeks."

I'm starting a new grade.

A new school.

I have a chance to do so many new things.

To make new friends.

To get better grades.

To be a new person.

To start all over.

Am I going to do it?

There's only one chance.

And there's only one answer.

Yes.
