Meredith's attack

Chapter 7

It had been a week since Meredith was attacked and it was her first day going back to work Meredith took the train as she didn't want to be back in the car park.

When she got back she felt eyes on her she knew that one of the nurses were working that night and probably told the other nurses so she was probably the hospital gossip. Derek pulled Meredith closer to him which made her feel a lot safer then they went into the changing rooms to get ready.

When they walked in Arizona and Callie were in there and April and Jackson were in there to and as soon as she went in and they saw her the room went silent and once again she felt their eyes watching her every move.
Arizona: Ok you lot stop staring at her like she is a wild animal
Meredith looked at Arizona thankfully then carried on getting changed into her scrubs.

Meredith and Jo were in the lab working on there mini livers but Meredith didn't feel like she did around everyone else with Jo she didn't feel like she was staring at her.
Meredith: I don't get it
Jo: Get what
Meredith: Everyone else is acting like I'm this fragile glass that will break at any moment except you why
Jo: Because I understand what your going through
Meredith: How
Jo: I told Alex about Paul being abusive but I was just sugar coating it. I got pregnant with Paul's baby but I had a miscarriage and I was so happy about it but he just wanted to keep trying even if I didn't want to do I ended up going on the pill till I left him
Meredith: How can people be so cruel
Jo: I don't know but I do know that you have a lot of people that care about you like Alex when he got home he broke down crying
Meredith: Jo what do I do I feel disgusting
Jo didn't say anything she just hugged her but it was strange because if it was anyone else other than Derek she would of tried fighting it but she didn't and then she started sobbing.

An hour later Meredith stopped crying and just sat with her head on Jo's shoulder.
Jo: So have you heard from the police about Finn yet
Meredith: He has been charged for sexual assault and has a court date but he had been realised on bail and I'm petrified that he will come after me
