Chapter 12

Jason POV

I ran over to Aria and grabbed her hand; pulling her away from the door.

"Follow me"Delgotto said as the flames started to spread.

We covered our faces and started running up the steps, following Delgotto into a room....Aria's room. I looked at her but i couldnt read her expression. Delgotto opened the French doors and looked down.

"We're all gonna have to jump. You van is out back. Its the only way" He said.

"And we need to hurry. The fire is making its way upstairs." Ryan said.

Delgotto walked over to a device attached to Aria's wall that was hidden behind a clock. He pressed the button and we heard gunshots outside.

"The guns should hold them off for a while." He exclaimed.

"Guns attached to your house....nice" Chaz complimented.

"Thanks. Ok ill jump first." With that, he jumped down.

All the rest of the guys jumped and we caught the girls but Aria was too scared.

"JUST JUMP ARIA." I yelled.

"Wait wheres Brice" Cameron asked.

We looked uo to where Brice oicked Aria up and threw her over the balcony. She screamed as she landed into my arns.

"Your ok." I whispered and placed her down.

Alfredo caught Brice and we ran towards the back as Delgotto picked uo a duffel bag and we piled into the van.

"Shit..whose gonna drive..khalil usually does it"Alfredo explained.

My eyes darkened at the sound of his name but i shrugged it off and got into the drivers seat. I started the van and drove around the house and soed down the street but not before throwing a bomb Vince's way.

We've been driving for 8 hours and its early morning now. None of the gang slept and none of even can...events from yesterday still fresh in our heads. I passed a sign that said " Welcome to Vegas" as i continued to drive.

Another half an hour, we got to an old motel and I parked the van as everyone piled out looking dirty, beat, and tired. We all grabbed our duffel bags and made our way inside. Delgotto got two conjoined rooms and we made our way to them. Once in the room, everyone situated in their sleeping spots and I put my duffel bag by the bed that I would share with Aria.

"Alright..everyone get over here" I said sitting in the "living room".

"Its not a secret why Vince came for us...and its nkt a secret that hes gonna come for us again..we need to be ready next time. Brice did you hring the weapons." I asked.

"Duh" She said with tude.

"Ok i know everyone is tired and everything but all of us wont be able to sleep. We need to take turns keeping watch and staying awake." Everyone groaned.

"Jason you should sleep...your the one who drove for 8 hours...Sierra and I will take the first shift" Cameron said.

"No you girls get some rest" I wavered.

"Nah man...they're right...get some sleep. The girls should sleep too. Chaz and I got this." Ryan persuaded.

"Ill stay up for a bit too. I have to make some calls." Delgotto said before walking out of the room.
