Ch.6 an awful lost

Huh~ I guess I just slept in class ! that what you get for coming to school at 5:00 am , Just before everyone else does...

the light chatters of my classmates around me filled my ears, I lifted my head off the wooden table ugh~ my neck hurts !!

"Hey...did you hear ? Amanda committed suicide!" Huh ? What was that ?

"Um...what did you just say ?" I tapped Mahiro's shoulder

"ah ! you're awake ? They found her dead today in the early morning !" He whispered

"Dead ? Where ? Why ?" I asked wanting to know the details that were going around school's ground

"hmm~ I heard that she slept with someone who gave her HIV and black mailed her to keep doing it with him ,apparently she jumped off the school's roof this morning!" He said scratching his head, this is the only reason ?

"Anything else ?" I asked Mahiro

"anything ? ...I don't think so ! It's the only reason that was written in her suicide note" he placed his finger on his lips ...guess those are still used and work perfectly for delivering a message !

"Not coming for lunch ?" My head turned towards light blue eyes

"hey, yeah I'm coming" I got up skipping to Alex ,they handed me a lunch box with a smile on their face

"today's menu...curry" we went to sit next to the running field

"you're okay Alex ?! are you hurt ?" I asked worried when I noticed they had trouble walking

"n-no I'm fine, just a little tired that's all" they smiled sitting down

"hey ! There's something I want to ask you" I remember what I heard on the phone the other night

"I'd rather you don't !" I almost didn't hear them as they whispered low under the loud rings of my phone in my pocket, seriously !!

There isn't any other time to call ?!

"Michael ?" I wonder what he wants !

"Hello ?" I answered eating my food

"hey Y/N !! Are you free after tomorrow ?" They asked energetic, hmm ~ am I ? ~ I don't think I have anything planned! Should I go ? I'm not in the mood to be honest!

"Who's that ?" Alex asked when they saw me spacing out a bit

"ah it's Michael" I smiled covering my phone with my hand "what does he want ?" The added eating their food

"I don't know ,he's asking if I'm free after tomorrow" I said and went back to talking to Michael

"I don't have anything...why ?" I waited for his reply from the other side

"want to hang out ? I bought this new game that I wanted to try...bring Alex with you !" He said in an unusual bright tone

"uh...sure, I'll check with them later" I slightly nodded glancing over at the food on my lap

"cool, I'll see you later" he hung up

"something wrong?" Alex mumbled softly

"huh ? Oh no, Michael wants to hangout with me after tomorrow" I smiled, I'm sure Alex has better things to do

"a-after school ?! When will you be back home ?" They nervously ask ..home ?

"Huh ?" I raised a brow at their question

"w-well, I didn't want to ask this so suddenly but....is it okay if I sleep at your place for a while ?!" They said lowering their head, my place ? As in sleeping on my couch ?
