Ch.5 Torn Apart

*Next day after school*

"Hey Y/N over here" the waving hand caught my attention as it waved energetically

"ah there's Michael!" Alex points and walked up to him

"you're late again" Michael whined

"sorry sorry~ the teacher gave me extra work to do and I couldn't get away from it" I rubbed the back of my head ,I even made poor Alex wait for me at the gates for almost 30 minutes

we sat down at the quiet cafe and ordered coffee ,i was tired that day so I didn't talk much but I listened carefully to the two in front of me talking...

"is it really okay if I'm tagging along?" Alex whispered softly into my ear

"of course! Michael asked me to bring you with me, he was really excited about you coming !" I gave a thumbs up and smiled

"hey Alex ! What tv shows do you watch ?" Michael asked taking a sip from his coffee, I looked down at the searing hot beverage in my hand...too hot, guess I'll wait for it to cool down a bit

"hmm~ I did see that show that was airing yesterday at 9pm, it really caught my attention!" They tilted their head to the side ,tv shows ?

I didn't know Alex was into long span tv shows ...I don't watch tv often so I can't think of anything that I watched

"ah ~ that show is amazing! But I guess if you didn't see it from the start ,things might be a little confusing..." Michael smiles brightly

"it is !! I'm trying to figure shit out by myself" Their laughter felt like music to my ears

"you can come over to my house !! I have the full first and second seasons! Let's watch it together" Michael gave a smile holding Alex's hand...his face slightly turning pink !

"Really !! That would be nice,I'm in" Alex mumbles with a blush

"do you live close by ? I'll come pick you up sometime!" He said and Alex shifted uncomfortably in their chair ...are they okay ?

"I don't really...you can just tell me your house address and I'll pass by" the chuckled nervously

"that's fine too, whatever you want" Michael smiled holding his cup and consuming the hot coffee

"then...Y/N ! How about we gather at your house ? I believe it's in the middle" Alex smiled softly and I nodded

"I'm okay with anything to be honest" I smiled patting their back "I'll go to the bathroom for a second" they added getting up, they looked around for a second

"it's over there...the bathroom" I pointed at the almost hidden turn

"it looks sketchy" we all laughed as Alex walked away.

"Y/N you've been awfully quiet! Everything's fine ?" He looked at me with a concerned face

"huh ? Sorry...I'm just tired" I gave him a weak smile

holding my cup of coffee...it's still too hot for me to even bring it anywhere close to my lips ! I'll wait a little more...

"what kind of activities does Alex enjoy? I want to ask them out" Michael asked with a blush on his face

hmm~ I can't remember anything on mind...Wait !!

Michael likes Alex ?

"like on a d-date ?" I mumbled lowering my voice

"yeah...they seem nice and we have a lot in common" he smiled softly

"I don't know what to tell you, but I can't think of anything right now!" I scratched my cheek
